Bedtime/wake up playlists!

You might notice that I've been listening to certain songs A LOT more than others...well, it's because I listen to them every morning/every night. I just started my wake up playlist when school started so you won't notice much of a difference in those yet, but bedtime playlist songs show a great disparity between them and all the other songs by that band. So, here's a list.

Wake up playlist:

Cleanse Song by Bright Eyes. I listen to this in the morning because all those, I can't think of the word, noises at the beginning, kind of like, wooosh, but not, and it's very calming to wake up to that.

Boys, Girls, Sing by Backseat Goodbye. It makes me happy. Every time!

by The Jesus and Mary Chain. NO, it does NOT go after Backseat Goodbye in a flowy way. Very different sound. But I need that shock to really wake me up. Also, I dance to this.

I Love Rock and Roll

Take Me to the Hospital by The Faint. I always change my pace to this song when I hear it. So I do everything to the beat. Yup. It makes me...er...alert?

If You Fall by Azure Ray. Gets me ready for facing my peers.

I Wanna Be Like Johnny C. by Loveninjas. Gets me psyched! Seriously, best motivational song EVAR.

Kate by Sambassadeur. No reason, really. I just really like this song.

The rest, I don't usually wake up early enough to get to, but the birds wake me up twice a week, probably more once I get my sleep schedule adjusted. The point here is, you won't see as radical of a change in them, but I'm listing them anyway.

Trumpets and Violins by Suburban Kids With Biblical Names. Fast? Loud? I don't know. It's just a song that makes me happy.

I'm Glad I Hitched My Apple Wagon to Your Star by The Boy Least Likely To. I do the claps to this. One day I sat there and learned them. Normally, I listen to this while walking to school. What better a time to make a fool of yourself by clapping to a song nobody else can hear?

Jellybonesby The Unicorns. Listed as "Jellycones". WMP sucks. It will NOT let me change it, no matter how many times I remove it, edit the properties and put it back. Seriously. I hate that.

.A Perfect Fit by Tilly and the Wall. I felt like I needed some Tilly on the list.

Two words away by Wan Light. This song should be on a commercial. I wouldn't be surprised if it had already been.

Lost by the Mary Onettes. I just like it.

Miss Douglas County by Tullycraft. It always makes me happy.

Bedtime playlist (note that I don't list reasons, because they're all the same. They song is calming and slow. The lyrics have nothing to do with it):

The Battle of The Boy Least Likely To by The Boy Least Likely To

Do It All or Don't do It at All by Suburban Kids With Biblical Names

Macy, Macy by the Push Kings

Polaroids from Mars by Tullycraft

Lost Girlsby Tilly and the Wall

Rise Up with Fists! by Jenny Lewis with The Watson Twins

Mountain by Whispertown2000

December Snapshots by Park Ave.

Like Christmas by the Fat Tulips

Just a Dream by Talulah Gosh

Tugboat by Galaxie 500

Sealed Human by The Faint

Rise by Azure Ray

Railroad Boy by the The Magnetic Fields

Oahu by The 6ths. You may say, this is not calming. Not really, but the 25 minutes of Disney magic sounding synth is. And if I'm not asleep by the end of that, I know it's hopeless and I just get back up and go on the computer.

You think that I like these bands more than other bands because they're on one or both lists, this is NOT true. I mean, I like the Pastels way better than Azure Ray, but I don't have the Pastels on either of the lists and Azure Ray on both. I have no explanation for this. Maybe when I was making this list I just wasn't in a Pastels sort of mood. Maybe WMP magically made the Pastels disappear on that day. I honestly have no idea
