White Bear Lake Remodeling
During years of living in Asia,
the owners would return to
their Minnesota home on
White Bear Lake to complete
phases of this remodeling.
Responding to the context
and incorporating elements of
Asian culture root the project
in its place while recalling the
experience of their time
abroad. The design was
developed as a phased
project constructed over a 17
year period.
Sustainable design maximizes
energy efficiency and
incorporated recycling and
reuse and sourcing local
materials.
