But when Universal Credit rolls out, premiums will be scrapped!

What you need to know:Universal Credit is here:
• for new claimants
• across Glasgow
Everyone claiming:ESA, JSA, Housing Benefit, Tax Credits and IncomeSupport will be gradually moved to Universal Credit by 2023, by the DWP.
At the moment:Severe and Enhanced Disability Premiums give extrasupport to disabled claimants to help meet the extra costsof being disabled (e.g. taxis, bills, equipment, care costs)
…but under Universal Credit these will not exist - so get them now!
SevereDisabilityPremium:up to £3,343 per year
EnhancedDisabilityPremium:up to £852 per year

ESA and in theSupport Group
or DLA Carecomponent high rate
or PIP daily livingcomponent enhanced rate
You may be entitledto EnhancedDisability Premium –up to £852 per year.
If you are a disabled adult living:On your ownor with someone under 18
or with someone who alsogets certain disability benefitsand no-one gets CarersAllowance for supporting you.
And you receive: DLA Care Component Middle or Higher rate
or PIP daily living componentstandard or enhanced rate
You may be entitled to SevereDisability Premium – up to £3,343 per year.
