1. lf the learning environment is conducive, the students are able to engage, participateand concentiate on learning This environment has the ability to stimulate students'interest and passion to learn. Assessment is also a part of the teaching process and
the implementation of procedures can help the classroom management'
Discuss how a conducive learning environment can stimulate students' interest in
learning and explain two process that involved in the assessment.
f
Gonducive learning environment stimulates student interest
Conducive learning environment has the ability to stimulate students' interest andpassion to continue to learn. Climate that motivates students refer to the atmosphere
or culture that can create a motif in pupils to act to achieve the learning goals' This
involves teaching approach, communication patterns, skill in managing, controllingstudents and activities in the classroom and the teacher's own personality' ln this
environment, students are aware of the advantages of self-reliance, has a sense of
responsibility and willing to learn. ln effort to create the right environment, teachers
need to take into account the physical characteristics of a classroom, emotional
factors and social environment as well as the rules and routines implemented'
Physical characteristics include the arrangement of tables and chairs' learning
spaces that are available, the equipment available in the classroom, lighting and
ventilation classroom.
Another argument that suPPorts:
. To create a healthy social environment and to stimulate student interest and
effort towards learning, teachers should have knowledge about his emotional
andsocialdevelopmentofchildrenandtheirneeds.. Rules and routines facilitate the learning process in the classroom if students
understand and know their responsibilities. So a clear, concise and important
rules should be displayed in the classroom for students knowledge'
-
Physical layout of the classroom can reveal the authority, teaching style of the
teacher, create a sense of belongings and enable interaction in theclassroom. Regular classroom, neat and clean can give comfort to thestudents and they want to be in the room'
o Pupils in primary schools began to be independent but they still requiremonitoring. At th; stage they will love the attention given by the teacher andshow a positive response when given incentives or prizes' An effectiveteacher will make up the rules and procedures in the classroom in order to
reduce interference and improve learning'
