BEING WOMANIS A BIG BUSINESS
GUIDANCE POINTS STARTUP
Strengthening female entrepreneurship and provide a
valuable support to women that decide to start their own
business, creating new activities: here is the goal of the
Guidance Points started in the partner countries of the EMMA
project.
Thanks to this partnership, it will be possible to cooperate
with other European and national realities. These new
services for women-owned businesses are also meant to
address female workforce towards entrepreneurship,
especially if there are underlying conditions of unemployment
and job loss.
Emma Project was born in order to find common
methodologies for overcoming these barriers, through the
Emma project will be enhanced networks and skills acquired
by individual partners in different territories.
These are highly specialized Guidance Points operating as
consultants for both activities at an early stage and
companies that have already started. It often happens that
women who wish to start their own business encounter
obstacles related to bureaucracy, access to finance and also
in drafting an initial business plan which evaluates all the pros
and cons.
In Umbria are operational, from January 2012, a "Guidance
Point" and two local offices for guidance and support of
women's businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs.
