Subject : Proposal to Build Up a Gymnasium at TM Building, Jln Tanah Putih, Kuantan

As a committee members of TM Kuantan Sports & Society Club, we would like to

propose a gymnasium in the TM building.

Healthcare is one of the businesses that are in high demand from day to day.

Increased levels of education

- Educated people realize the importance of regular health care to keep healthy and

happy life

Work situations that push

- Many types of jobs that do not contribute to increased human

health this modern age

Income levels increase

A developing countries like Malaysia and many other countries are trying to increase the per capita income of its

citizens.

Total budget cost for the project

is RM 125,500

A proposal to set up a gymnasium

To set up this gym is basically in TM Building, Jln Tanah Putih.

The unused hall inside the building will have a minor renovation

Problems Statement

The future gym will provide more benefits for the employees in managing their time

The gym will help employer and TM employee to save their money for other

expenditure

Even the employees are in one roof, they do not Interact much with others. The gym will

help them to interact and communicate each other

Objective of the project

By having their own gym, it gives a benefit to the worker’s having their very lower

price for the member’s fees This will contribute an income to their social club

To provide employees healthy with the guide and foods nutrition advice serve by the

Professional Instructor at the gym

The gym will be a place for the employees to interact and communicate each other

Significance of the project

To motivate employees

Contribute extra profit to the Clubs by offering the membership to the TM customers and not

only to the staffs

Procedure

Phase 1 - Select Committee

Phase 2 - Call for meeting

Planning - Determine place

Impplementing - Work out the budget for the project

Budget

Estimated construction and renovation cost of the gym is approximately RM

50,000.00Total sports and gym equipment and is

approximately RM 46,000.00

Monthly expenses are expected to be RM24, 000/year

Duration

Presentation of the proposal to the board of directors is expected to be in Mac 2015

Construction period is expected to be finish in 3 weeks time

Adding 1 week for installation gym equipment

Complete in the end April of 2015 and it would be operate in early of Mei 2015

Limitations

Difficult to arrange who are able to manage the gym

The proposal may not had an approval due to below factors:-

i) The proposal is incur a high cost

ii) The employees would be always chateach other until forget about their

work.

Believe with the right partner we can build a tremendously profitable that will

help many people lead happier and healthier lives
