SOS Children villages - Poa
Project : Sport for All
Goal : Get an integral development of children and young people through the practice of sport in a suitable space, with the help of a qualified professional, and, beyond the practice of sport in a healthy and dynamic way, the teaching of the rules of sports and life, participation in citizenship, promotion of the role of children and young people and a critical positioning towards sport, community and social issues.
Target public : 150 childrenAge range: 5 to 18 years
Children and Youth of the SOS VillageFrom families around the SOS VillageChildren with school attendance above 75%
Methodology : The groups will consist of up to 25 children in the age group corresponding (5 to 18 years).The groups (around 6) will receive training in sports (taking the school schedules into consideration), discuss key issues related to sport each month, to their development and the development of their community and participate in tournaments in local and municipal competitions.
Use of the financed resources : In order to execute this program qualitatively, the Belgian Sports Technology Club will finance :
1. Reform of the field> Reparation of the soccer field, chain link fence and illumination system> Construction of 2 bleachers, 2 dressing rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 teacher’s room2. Purchase of sport material3. Human resources4. Material of consumption5. Food
