Communities, wherever we go, help us grow as an individual in our society and it also enhances our well-being, therefore, it is important to really choose which community you want to live in. There are severalcommunities here in Belize and a few of them are quite luxurious to live in.

Living in a community means meeting the people you share visions with. In choosing which communityyou should live in, the people you’ll be neighbors with is not the only factor you should consider. What youshould also think about is if the community would perfectly suit your needs, and moreover, can thecommunity provide you with the house that you really need?

If you really want to feel at home and would like to mingle with the locals then perhaps you would you liketo live in a town where their community is filled with a mix of locals and foreigners that have decided tomake Belize their home. Towns often have their own security patrols in their thriving community. Most ofthe time, houses in Belize real estate properties here are more affordable than anywhere else. A goodsample of this would be the town of Corozal in the north. There are also smaller, yet hospitablecommunities in the towns of Hopkins in the Stann Creek District and other towns outside Belize City.

The Mayan community also manages to survive in our modern times. However, they are still not that openwith having others join them in their community since they still follow their age- old traditions of living inharmony with nature. Nevertheless, you are always free to pay them a visit whenever you can in theToledo District that is south of the capital city.

Luxury can be easily achieved here. One does not have to be filthy rich to taste the finest lobster in thebest restaurants of Belize. Why not try out the other posh communities in the country?

There’s one in the town of San Pedro but it is quite hard to get to because of its location, requiring boats

just to go to the mainland. However, there is a community conveniently located in the southern side of thecountry called Sanctuary Belize.

This community boasts of a rich natural environment and top-notch amenities with houses that aredefinitely places to live in. There are two wildlife reserves on either side of the community where you cantruly appreciate nature at its best. The people living here help out to preserve nature and protectendangered animals living in it. In this community, affordability is one of the best things that draw peoplein, despite the grandeur and extravagant lifestyle they could have. The community also has their own fiveboutique hotels for guests and these hotels have different themes depending on their eco-systems.
