2017 Summer Reading!
Summer is a great time to build and create and have fun with friends! Your local library is the perfect place to help your imagination take off! Join us this summer for books, movies, music, activities, and fun. Together we can build a better world!
Pineville Public Library will start Summer Reading on Tuesday, June 6th
at 10:30 a.m. for Story Time with Toddlers and at 4:00 p.m. with Arts & Crafts for School Age children. Come back on Thursday, June 8
th @ 2:00 p.m. for a chance to explore several types of instruments! (all ages)
Middlesboro Public Library will kick off its Summer Reading Program on Wednesday, June 7
th with
Stories & Crafts for Toddlers at 10:00 a.m. and School Age children at 11:00 a.m. Come back on

pre-school book give away.

On May 31st, Miss Piddle did a program at Chained Rock Early Learning Center on numbers and counting using fruits and vegetables and the book Edible Numbers by Jennifer Vogel Bass, purchased with funds from the Lois Lenski Covey Foundation grant. The children used numbers to make faces - 1 nose, 2 eyes, etc.
