Recipe for Outstanding ResultsBaking Requirements for Encompass™ CPET TraysEncompass™ CPET containers are designed to withstand temperatures from -40ºF to 400ºF (204ºC).

For optimal results, customer is responsible for testing containers with the appropriate contents under

actual conditions for fitness of use. Below are general heating and baking guidelines.

• Place in center of baking sheet on the middle rack when using a preheated conventional oven

• Keep container edges from hanging over the baking sheet or touching the oven walls

• Maintain at least one inch between containers for even heating

• Allow containers to cool before direct handling

• Avoid direct open flame contact such as a barbecue grill, broiler or toaster oven

• Do not re-use containers

• Remove APET lids before baking or re-heating

Sealing Requirements for Encompass™ CPET TraysTo complete your package, Bemis offers lidding films, lids and domes designed for premium

performance in combination with our CPET trays. Both barrier and non-barrier options are available.

Contact Bemis for assistance selecting the best films for your application.

Sealing and usage requirements for Bemis lidding films include:

• Ensure the container is dry and clear of foreign matter and/or grease to achieve consistent seal integrity.

• It may be necessary to peel back, puncture or remove lidding film before heating/baking in a

microwave oven to prevent boil-overs or container distortion.
