DEFINITIONS:

– A distributor is a reseller, regularly engaged in the calibration, support, sales, and service of Pennsylvania Scale products. In the course of business, a distributor stocks equipment and basic replacement parts, maintains a library of technical info, and provides field support/warranty support if needed. A distributor in good standing receives a significant trade discount as compensation for customer provided value to the chain of distribution. A minimum sales quota is required to maintain distributor standing and max discount.

– A dealer is a reseller but does not stock basic service parts, is functioning as a commissioned broker for the company’s products, and is not engaged in the continuous and proactive promotion and sale of the company’s products. A dealer receives a resale discount commensurate with actual value provided to the customer experience and commitment to Pennsylvania Scale based on dollar sales volume.

– Like all other manufacturers, Pennsylvania Scale may, at its discretion, establish relationships with OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), municipalities, vertical resellers, or national accounts for competitive vertical market access to Pennsylvania Scale products.

WARRANTIES: The parts and components of these Pennsylvania Scale Company products are warranted for four years from the date of retail delivery against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms and conditions of our standard warranty.

RENTAL SCALE PROGRAM – CONTACT FACTORY

A limited supply of Pennsylvania counting scales are available to supplement our dealers’ rental scale fleets. These are available on short notice if available from stock. The fee is priced per week (FOB Lancaster, PA) at a weekly rate that covers shipping both ways and abnormal repairs on return. If extra rental scales are needed, this is an effective way to fill the order with new off-the-shelf equipment without purchasing directly. Special Pricing: Ask about special pricing for your own rental scale fleet, parts, and accessories.
