The metal is sheared and then stretched in a single process creating the apertures and therefore expanding the metal.

Colours

The mesh can be powder coated in virtually any colour BS, NCS and RAL or matched to other colours on request subject to minimum production quantities.

Maximum module size 2500mm by 1250mm. Smaller bespoke sizes are available*.

InTroDUCTIonArchitectural expanded mesh is an ideal material for external cladding, enhancing the look of a building. Soft curves and unusual apertures combine to present mesh that can blend seamlessly into its surroundings or make a bold architectural statement.

The mesh is available in Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Brass, Corten and Copper, in 6 different mesh patterns and can be coated in virtually any colour BS, NCS and RAL or matched to other colours on request subject to minimum production quantities.

InTroDUCTIonBenchmark coloured and mirrored façades give architects and designers more freedom with glass than ever before, with thousands of colour options available.

The screen prints are made with heat and light stable pigments, creating a fade resistant façade. Advanced glazing performance creates a glass façade that is strong, stable and flexible on design.

Coloured glass consists of internal toughened glass, UV resistant interlayer including coloured screen print and outer toughened glass.

Mirrored glass consists of internal toughened glass, UV resistant interlayer including black screen print and outer silvered glass.

Laminate slippage tolerance is in accordance with bS En iSO 12543-5: 1998 (Glass in building. Laminated glass and laminated safety glass. Dimensions and edge finishing). Glass cutting tolerance is +/- 1mm.

aluminium Secondary rail System

The extruded aluminium secondary rail system conforms to BS EN 12020-1: 2008 (Aluminium and aluminium alloys). Extruded precision profiles in alloys EN AW-6060 and En AW-6063. Technical conditions for inspection and delivery) - powder-coated black.

Extruded aluminium straps, conforming to BS EN 1220-1: 2008 in 6063/T6 grade alloy, are structurally bonded to the glass façade. Straps are secured to the aluminium secondary rail system using self-drilling/self-tapping stainless steel fasteners.

The coloured glass is available in virtually any colour BS, RAL or matched to other colours on request subject to minimum production quantities. The mirrored glass is available as an option.

InTroDUCTIon Wall Powerpanel Module uses solar photovoltaics to generate clean energy for buildings. Once installed every kW produced by PV has zero carbon emissions, helping to reduce environmental impact as well as energy costs.

The module is suitable for most wall applications on new build or refurbishment projects and has 21 enhanced efficiency polycrystalline silicon cells in series, with 75 to 80 watts of nominal maximum power.

1. Natura Pro• Natura Pro has a tactile, smooth surface which allows the natural variegation of the fibre cement finish to

be seen through the semi-translucent, pigmented coating. • A UV cured top layer offers good protection against graffiti

2. Textura• Textura combines vivid colour, texture and toughness in one fully compressed fibre cement cladding

panel. With a highly glazed, granular finish available in any factory-approved RAL colour, it is impact resistant yet strong, light in weight and easy to use.

3. Pictura• The new Pictura coating system incorporates an additional surface treatment for Fibre Cement panels. • The main characteristic of this treatment is the hard, smooth, silky, matt surface. • The UV cured top layer offers good protection against graffiti .

TEChnICal ovErvIEWMaterial Description

Cementitious boards are fibre-reinforced cement boards that satisfy the requirements of Category A, Class 2 to BS EN 12467: 2004 (Fibre-cement flat sheets). Panels are manufactured by a batch-blending operation, followed by the Hatchek process and high-pressure steam autoclaving.

product Tolerance

Boards have a thickness tolerance of +/- 10%.

aluminium Secondary rail System

Secret Fix - The extruded aluminium straps or hooks, in 6063/T6 conforming to BS EN 12020-1: 2008 grade alloy, are secured to the boards using undercut stainless-steel expanding anchors. These are secured to the aluminium secondary rail system using either self-drilling / self-tapping stainless steel fasteners or hook on hangers. The secondary rail system is securely fastened to the Benchmark Karrier Panel with expanding self-fixing aluminium and stainless steel fasteners.

Through Fix - The boards are secured to the aluminium rail system using coloured aluminium rivets. The rail system is securely fastened to the Benchmark Karrier Panel with expanding self-fixing aluminium and stainless steel fasteners.

Fixings

For the through fix option, rivets and screws are available in the same colour as the panel, to disguise the fixings.

Fire

The cementitious boards achieve a Class 0 to BS476 - 6: 1989 (Fire propagation for products) and BS476 - 7: 1997 (Surface spread of flame of products) and have a European fire classification of A2-s1, d0.

Dimensions

InTroDUCTIonArchitectural cementitious boards offer the designer subtle shades of colour along with the crisp, clean lines required to create dynamic and attractive elevations.

A smooth semi-translucent, highly glazed granular finish and matt option is available from this range. A UV cured top layer (excluding Textura) offers good protection against many types of staining, mechanical damage during construction and graffiti.

Where a smooth unbroken surface is required, a concealed fixing option and a through fixing detail are available.

TEChnICal ovErvIEWMaterial Description

Trespa Meteon is a flat panel, based on thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with wood based fibres and manufactured under high pressure and high temperatures. The panels have an integrated decorative surface using proprietary EbC technology.

product Tolerance

Thickness, flatness, straightness of edges, squareness, width and length are all in accordance with BS EN 438-2 (High-pressure decorative laminates (HpL) sheets based on thermosetting resins).

aluminium Secondary rail System

Secret Fix - The extruded aluminium straps or hooks, in 6063/T6 conforming to BS EN 12020-1: 2008 grade alloy, are secured to the boards using undercut stainless steel expanding anchors or self-tapping stainless steel screws into pre-drilled holes. Fire

Type FR achieves a European fire classification of B-s2d0 and Type Standard achieves D-s2d0 to EN 438-7 (High-pressure decorative laminates (HpL). Sheets based on thermosetting resins (usually called laminates)).

Note: Non ferrous metals should not be used with Western Red Cedar.

Colours

Siberian larch – pale honey to reddish brown. Relates to the heartwood of the wood. Most timbers vary in colour and will change with use, the application of finishes and exposure to light.

Sweet Chestnut – Pale golden brown to biscuit, some dark brown stain can be present, ages to silver grey if left unprotected.

accoya – pale cream with brownish tones, allowing light translucent colours to be applied.

Western red Cedar – Reddish brown (Ages to silver grey if left unprotected).

The extruded aluminium straps, conforming to BS EN 12020-1: 2008 in 6063/T6 grade alloy, are secured to the ceramic granite façade panel using undercut stainless steel expanding anchors. Straps are secured to the aluminium secondary rail system using self-drilling / self-tapping stainless steel fasteners. The secondary rail system is securely fastened to the Benchmark Karrier Panel with expanding self-fixing aluminium and stainless steel fasteners.

TEChnICal ovErvIEWMaterial Description

The Ceramic Tile is an extruded ceramic panel according to DIN En 14411: 2003 (Ceramic tiles Annex g (Dry-pressed ceramic tiles with low water absorption group Bla)), fired at 1250ºC.

product Tolerance

Thickness, sides straightness, rectangularity and surface flatness are all in accordance with DIN EN 14411: 2003. There is a natural material tolerance, hence colour can vary.

aluminium Secondary rail System

The extruded aluminium secondary rail system conforms to BS EN 12020-1: 2008 (Aluminium and aluminium alloys. Extruded precision profiles in alloys EN AW-6060 T66. Technical conditions for inspection and delivery).

attachment

Ceramic Tiles are put into position using a mounting tool. The secondary rail system is securely fastened to the Benchmark Karrier Panel with expanding self-fixing aluminium and stainless steel fasteners.

Fire

The Ceramic Tile façades have a Class A1 rating, and are non-combustible as defined by Building Regulations.

Dimensions

There are five different tile sizes available: 400x200mm, 500x250mm, 500x280mm, 600x250mm and 600x280mm.

InTroDUCTIonThe Wood Composite façade is a high pressure laminate cladding manufactured with a real wood veneer which exhibits all the natural variation, warmth and beauty of real wood.

The panels are coated with a proprietary coating, based in synthetic resins and PVDF, which protect the panel from the effects of sunlight, chemical attack (anti-graffiti) and the damage caused by atmospheric agents.

A smooth concealed fixing system can be used, and a through fix option is also available to create the desired look.

Wood Composite façades have a thermosetting phenolic resin bonded cellulose fibre core. This is faced with natural wood that has been coated with a proprietary acrylic resin - pVDF uV protective finish.

natural Wood

The natural wood is typically Ayous or Okume and comes from a sustainable source.

anti-graffiti

Specifically designed to resist chemical attack (anti-graffiti), the Wood Composite façade is BM Trada Q Marked (Cert CE/F04151).

product Tolerance

Thickness, length and width, edge straightness and squareness are all in accordance with BS EN 438 (High-pressure decorative laminates (HPL) Sheets based on thermosetting resins (Usually called Laminates) part 2: Determination of properties).

aluminium Secondary rail System

The extruded aluminium secondary rail system is tested to BS 1474: 1987 (Specification for wrought aluminium and aluminium alloys for general engineering purposes) in 6063/T6 grade alloy.

attachment

The extruded aluminium straps tested to BS 1474 in 6063/T6 grade alloy are secured to the Wood Composite façade panel using undercut stainless steel expanding anchors. Straps are secured to the aluminium secondary rail system using self drilling / self tapping stainless steel coated black screws.

Fire

The Wood Composite façade panels have a Class 3 fire rating to BS476 - 6: 1989 (Fire propagation for products) and BS476 - 7: 1997 (Surface spread of flame of products).
