COURSE GOAL:

The course aims to develop a more susceptible attitude towards the Benedictine values. Students are envisioned to inculcate the practice of ORA ET LABORA in their day-to-day living as professionals. Their contribution to the building of our Filipino nation is seen as the integral expression of a committed Bedan to the ideals of our patron St. Bede, and the founder of Benedictine spirituality St. Benedict. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the course the students are expected to:

1. Gain deeper understanding and appreciation of the spirituality of St. Benedict through discussion of selected topics on the Holy Rule;

2. Reflect and meditate on certain Benedictine values like prayer, work, study, humility, and community and relate these values to ones day to day situation3. Develop a heightened attitude towards a dynamic participation in liturgical celebrations most especially the Holy Eucharist

CLASSROOM POLICIES:

1. No electronic gadgets are allowed inside the class room while the session is being held in order to avoid disruptions.

2. Strict observance of silence is required in order to facilitate efficient delivery of educational service.

3. Food and beverages are prohibited inside the class room while in session. This is in observance of the policy on the cleanliness of the school facility.

4. Proper uniform or appropriate dress code should be stringently complied with; non compliance of this policy will merit a complaint to the Office of the Prefect of Discipline.

5. It is highly expected from the students to exhibit respect, honesty, transparency, sincerity, and trustworthiness at all times, not only in the class but in the campus as well.6.
