May 2014 – Oct 2014 Roxane UK Roxane gained the bottled water contract from Tesco, I joined the team at Roxanne UK.

It was a much larger plant than the previous one. I was based in the palletiser area looking after the bottles after they have been filled with water and labelled. I was part of a two man team responsible for several different machines on three production lines and having to cater for many different customers needs.

Feb 2013 - May 2014 Cott Beverages Working as an operator in a Factory, manufacturing and bottling water for Tesco. I have gained experience in three areas the blow-moulder area, the filler area and the packaging area. Working to Tesco’s high standards, I had to be precise and enable checks are adhered to correctly and are on time. This can be a complicated job and can often provide a lot of pressure to complete, but I coped well under pressure and

enjoyed the challenges that sometimes occur. In May 2014, Cott lost the Tesco contract to Roxane Uk and shut the Elmhurst plant shortly afterwards. August 2012 – December-2012 Talent Automotive Working in a car parts factory, I was a team member operating the presses or loading up

welding robots, through several different stages of assembly for a large variety of cars. This was a temporary agency role in the run up to Christmas. Nov 2011 – August 2012 XY Made Working in a furniture factory, focusing on kitchens and bathrooms. My duties included loading and tipping Lorries with the fork lift. Finding and as working in quality control,

checking and wrapping any panels ready for dispatch. I was also one of two employees trusted to move all the heavy machinery when the business moved to a larger premises. Unfortunately, just after the move, the business went downhill and I was one of many made redundant. June 2011 – Nov 2011 DHL/Unilever Working as a warehouse operative and forklift truck driver, order picking and

replenishing stock. This was often done on a tight deadline and precise, efficient work was of paramount importance.

Nov 2006 – May 2009 Nightfreight Working as a Warehouse operative and Forklift driver. Responsible for the incoming freight being sorted and placed in the correct department. I gained a Counter balance

Forklift license. I later went on to become team leader. I had to communicate and interact with all deck staff to ensure the hub runs smoothly, often with tight deadlines to meet. April 2005 – Nov 2006 Link Communications & Eventex UK

Working solo or as part of a small team setting up and operating sound equipment for various outdoor events spread all over the country. This enabled me to gain skills needed to independently work on my own and negotiate with staff and members of the public. This job took me all over the country and experience of driving a sprinter van and towing was also gained. Customers included the BBC, FIA and several different councils.

1993 -2005 During these years I trained and worked in the animal care and pet retail sector gaining various certificates and qualifications including Btec National Diploma in animal care, NVQ 2 retail and customer service.
