Weekly Program Plan 2019
Term 1 7th March 2019 No.6 What’s been happening at OSHC Hi OSHC Families,
We have been informed that we will be having our Assessment and
Rating Visit conducted by ACECQA sometime between the 18/03/19
– 15/03/19. So watch this space!!
We conducted an emergency evacuation drill this week as part of our rou-
tines each term. All the children were really excellent. We would appreci-
ate if you can continue to have discussions with your children around why
we need to do these.
Families are welcome to always give us feedback about any aspect of the
program. We welcome your input. We also are always on the look out for
re-cycled materials and ideas for cooking, activities & experiences.
Please drop us a line, have a chat, or send an email.

! Important Reminders to Families Regarding Absences
under the Child Care Subsidy System !
Under the Child Care Subsidy System (CCSS) , the Child Care Subsidy will not be paid for absences that occur at the start and end of care, the subsidy will only be paid for the times from when the child physi-cally starts and is present at the service.— then there are 42 absences that can be subsidised—medical certificates when provided are allowable absences and are in addition to the 42 absences.
BEPS OSHC charges you for your bookings from when you book until you formally end your bookings. Two weeks notice are required to end your permanent bookings. Therefore if you cancel and end your bookings and/or are away for the final days of care then the subsidy will not be paid for these absences. Likewise, if you make permanent bookings and then defer your start date—you will be charged the full fee. Only where the absences can be resold - you will not be charged. If you go on a four week holiday during term—you will be charged—unless you tell us and we can re-sell the days. Also if you change days, you also need to give two weeks notice and will be charged for those days if you are absent.
OSHC CHANGES TO OUR LATE FEE POLICY
At the end of last year our OSHC Committee decided that we would increase the late
pick-up fee, due to a number of increasing late pick-ups throughout the year. Please be
mindful that OSHC staff also have responsibilities and families to go home to;
The late pick-up fee is;
$10.50 for every 5 minutes after 6.00pm
Please contact the OSHC service; mobile; 0409380202 0r 93872631 if you are going to be late
Checking Your MyGov Account Regularly
Your family obligation to continue to receive your childcare subsidy is to regularly check
your MyGov account, particularly when you make any changes to your permanent book-
ings days, you will need to confirm these changes or the subsidy may cease. The Gov-
ernment wants families to be more accountable and actively involved in their understand-
ing of their subsidy claims.
