Long Beach Guest house is a privately-ruined familybusiness owned by the Ben's Family. The guest housewhich is newly established has its vision and missiongeared to customer satisfaction and employee fulfillment.The long Beach Guest House offer 10 en-suite rooms,bar and restaurant. It offers an exquisite rooms and
comfort that can be regarded as a home away fromhome. The rooms are grouped into 2 singles, 6 doubleand 2 family rooms, which can accommodate up to 5persons all with enriched facility such as fast internet,
cable TV and room service

Long Beach family house wants to advance its system bymaking an information system that will help the business
profitably and also flexible for file accessibility. The Ben's familyhas decided to invest on an information system that will helpthe business grow and have a competitive advantage. Theinformation system should have the following objectives:
Report generator for effective decision making
Customer base records
Reservations details or records
Billing system
Online hotel system for future customer prospects

PROJECT SCOPE & OBJECTIVE
SCOPE: the modeling of the system development life cycle and to propose an information
system that will suit Long Beach Guest House.
OBJECTIVE: The main purpose of this project is to have a represent the proposed
information system in a graphical model using the case tools. At the end of the project the developed information system will be able to
perform the following: Manage booking/ reservation system Stores details of additional services Keeps the records of employees and customer Faster means of calculating the final bills Storage of Payment details Storage of rooms and available or occupied rooms Reports for Mr. Ben to take effective decisions to help the growth of his
business

CONCLUSION
At the end of the development, the system modelwas successfully developed for Mr. Ben and all
information requirement was meet this model hashelped the system designer develop an up to dateworking information system for the client Mr. Ben.
To this end the project was successful as it helpedthe organisation attain its goals and objectives.However, an up to date update will continually bemade to make the company keep to the moderndevelopments and improvement.

RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation Due to the company was a small establish the model
should be able to forcast the customer base of futureguest and a larger out range of rooms
Mail merge should be implemented where the admin cansend e-mail to all the customers and newsletters
A more accurate date sorter for the reservation should be
implemented whereby the customers can adequately andconveniently select their own preferred dates and roomsand also date of arrival and departure

The use of the traditional system
development which was used posed adisadvantage as the stages are beingrepeated
Due to the company is a small enterprise the
use of traditional method becomes a problemas the need to employ the future guests hadto be considered
