Bidding Types – Penny Auction

The penny auction allows the users to buy the packages

such as Silver, Gold, and Platinum

These package amount can be set using the back-end

settings panel

Admin fixes the minimum bid increment value.

The bidders can place the bid while the timer counts the

time.

The timer is reset when a bid is placed.

The bidding winner will be the last bidder who bids when

the timer goes zero and there is no one to bid.

Bidding Types – Beginner

A new member is eligible as Beginner to enjoy the low bids

with low account amount.

This option is valid only upto 30 days from registration,

after which he becomes an old member like other bidders.

He also becomes an old member if he wins an auction

within 30 days.

Bidding Types – Peak Auction

The auction will be on the live only for the fixed peak hours

daily (Ex: 8 to 6:30), as set by the administrator.

It will begin at start time and close at end time, and resume

again on start time the next day.

Bidding Types –Lowest UniqueIn lowest unique bidding, the default range for bid increment is

fixed by the admin

Bid can be chosen or can be entered manually.

When a user places a bid using 'Bid me' option, user can choose the

minimum increment amount or the bid amount which will not be

known to other bidders.

The amount is deducted from his account while it is incremented

with the bid value.

The person who has made the lowest bid in the list is announced as

winner after the closing time.

Bidding Types –Clock Bidding Type/ Dutch Bidding Type

The bidding starts with a high asking price that is set by the

auctioneer.

The product is bought when the participant purchases the product

at the price set by the auctioneer or when it reaches a

predetermined reserve price which is the minimum price set by the

auctioneer.

In Clock auction, the timer runs count up

Bidding Types –Scratch Bidding

Scratch bidding type contains only a starting date to begin the

auction without end date.

Here the product's price gets reduced by certain units when the

participant clicks or scratches the Scratch option.

Also a specific time period will be set, within which the product has

to be purchased otherwise an alert message “Time Over” will be

displayed on the screen when the scratch option is clicked.

Bidding Types –Reserve Bidding

This is an interesting bidding where the participant doesn't make a

single bid, but does multiple bid.

It assigns the Nauction to do the bidding as per a criteria.

This particular criteria will be kept secret from other bidders and

they will never be aware of it until the bidding process gets over.

Bidding Types –Cash Back Bidding

Here the winner gets back the entire cash that he or she has used

in bidding.

The next two consecutive bidders get 50% and 25 % of their cash

back.

The winner not only gets the product but also gets the cash that he

has spend in the bidding, while the second last bidder gets 50% and

third last gets 25%.

Bidding Types –Seat Auction

Here the site admin will define a given number of seats in the

Admin panel.

To take part in the auction process, the participant has to purchase

a seat which has a fixed value.

Only limited seat takers can participate in the auction.

The participant will not be charged for placing bid in that auction

and the given seat cannot be used for other product's auctions.

The product will be available for bidding only within the end date

Bidding Types –Bid based auction

This is mainly based on the bids.

User can buy packages (Gold, Silver etc) by paying amount for

which certain quantity of bids are credited into his account ( Ex:

500 bids for $1000)

Later when the user participates in bidding, the number of bids get

decreased for each bidding.

As usual the highest bidder wins the auction.

Premium bid-based auction supports Beginner and Penny auction

types.

Bidding Types –Buy Now

This option has been included with the auction products such that

the user can buy the auction product at the product price even

when he/she may lose in bidding.

Any user can use the Buy Now option to avail the product similar to

shopping cart.
