Welcome to Japan-“The Land of the Rising Sun”. Your tour begins in Tokyo.
Bon voyage! Welcome to Tokyo. On arrival at the Narita International Airport you will be
greeted by the Thomas Cook Tour Manager/local representative outside the baggage hall
area at the airport, who will transfer you to your conveniently located hotel. Check into the

Join us on a guided city tour of Tokyo visiting Asakusa Kannon Temple, Imperial
Palace and Toyota Museum. Shop at famous Ginza area. Enjoy best views of the
city from the observatory deck of the Metropolitan Tower.
After a sumptuous American breakfast, enjoy a full day city tour of Tokyo. Visit the Asakusa
District known for its renowned Sensoji temple, a very popular Buddhist Temple which was
constructed in the 7th century. You also have some free time at the famous Nakamise
Shopping Arcade where you get a chance to try local snacks and buy Japanese souvenirs.
Next, see the Imperial Palace, the residence of the Emperor of Japan with its beautiful
gardens and the Eyeglass Bridge.
Next visit Toyota Car theme park (Mega-web). Enjoy an exhibition of Toyota cars, and feel
the nostalgia as you look at famous makes from the 50s, 60s, 70s in the History Garage.
Test-drive a Toyota car on the 1.4km Ride One course and push the limits on the very
realistic VRD drive simulator or experience for yourself Toyota's new technology showcased

Visit Hakone and see the magnificent Mt. Fuji. Enjoy a cruise on Lake Ashi and
enjoy spectacular views of Owakudani by a ropeway. Proceed to Hiroshima by a
bullet train.
After an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Hakone, a part of the
Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. (Clients are required to carry only an Overnight bag in
Hiroshima. Their main luggage – one piece of baggage per person only – would be
transferred directly to Osaka by coach). Famous for hot springs, outdoor activities, natural
beauty and the view of nearby Mt. Fuji, Hakone is one of the most popular destinations of
Japan. We take you to visit the Mount Fuji 5th station. Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in
Japan and often considered the symbol of the country.
Next, enjoy a cruise on Lake Ashi, whose spectacular beauty and tranquillity will leave you
spellbound. Also admire the picturesque beauty of the surroundings as you ride on the
Owakudani ropeway.
Later, get ready for a thrill of a lifetime as you board the bullet train, the fastest train in the
world, to Hiroshima. Tonight, enjoy a lavish Indian dinner.

City tour of Hiroshima including visit to Itsukushima Shrine at Miyajima. Onto
Osaka.
This morning, after an American breakfast, check out and proceed on a guided city tour of
Hiroshima, the city devastated by the atomic bomb in World War II. See the A-Bomb Dome,
the symbol of Hiroshima and the only building to remain standing after the atomic explosion.
See the Peace Memorial Park with its museum and
number of monuments of peace including the Flame of Peace, Flocks of Doves and the
Children’s Memorial. The cenotaph with its arched tomb is a tribute to those who died
because of the bomb.
Take a ferry to the Miyajima area to see the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine and the floating
torii – one of Japan’s most scenic spots. Later, proceed to Osaka – the city of wonder and
check into your conveniently located hotel.

Full day excursion to Kyoto and Nara.
After an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a full day excursion to Kyoto, one of the
most beautiful cities of Japan. Marvel at the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion, which houses
sacred relics of Buddha. The gardens of the Golden Pavilion are renowned for their exquisite
beauty. Also visit the Kiyomizu temple, a part of the historic monument of ancient Kyoto and
a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next proceed to Nara, the first capital of Japan. Visit the Todai-ji temple, which houses the
largest Buddha statue in Japan and the Nara Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely
roaming deers. Considered in Shinto to be messengers of the gods, Nara's nearly 1200 deers
have become a symbol of the city and have been designated a natural treasure.
Proceed to Osaka. In the night, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant.

a length of 4163 miles it is one of the only man-made structures on Earth that can be seen
from Space. Later, visit the Ming Tombs, the mausoleum of 13 emperors of the Ming
Dynasty. After a tiring day, relax yourself as you enjoy a soothing and a traditional foot
massage especially arranged for you. On your way back get a chance to see the Olympics

After an American breakfast, check out and proceed to the airport for your flight to Xi’an. On
arrival visit the famous Terracotta warriors; where you can see life-sized colorful Terracotta
warriors and horses arranged in battle formation. Also enjoy a 360 degree film presentation
about the terracotta army; its history and formation. Proceed to the Wild Goose Pagoda; a
monastery housing a statue of Buddha, carved out of teakwood. Later check-in to your hotel.

Later, get ready to WOW yourself as we proceed to Shenzhen, a favourite with all

IMPORTANT
• The tour will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full-paying passengers travelling
together. In the event that the group size is less than 25 passengers, you will be given an
option of travelling on seat-in-coach basis, by paying an additional supplement.
• The services of a Thomas Cook Tour Manager will be provided with a group of minimum 25
full-paying passengers. Our local representative will be there to assist you in case this above
requirement is not fulfilled.
• When the tour has less than 25 adults and is operated on a seat-in-coach basis, there will
be instances where the driver acts as a guide as well.
MEDICAL INSURANCE
Medical insurance for the duration of the tour is included in the tour price. However, any
passengers above the age of 60 years and those who wish to extend their stay will be
required to pay additional charges.
WHAT YOUR TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE
• Rs 2,500/- the cost of deviation, in case you want to deviate from the group departure
dates mentioned in the brochure.
• The tour cost does not include POE charges, porterage and passport charges.
• Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 10,000.
• The cost of airfare included in the above tour cost is based on the fare structure existing as
on 01 December 2009. Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel
price, change in Government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be
borne by the passengers. Thomas Cook will not be held responsible for the same.
• Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to increase in surface transportation and land
arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure.
• The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate of exchange changes
substantially prior to departure.

expense. • The airfare is based on the fare structure existing as of 01 December’09. Any
further increase in the airfare due to an increase in fuel price, change in Government

be informed in advance. • Passengers can board the tour from the hub city. Those boarding
from any other city can do so, however all expenses to/from the hub city is to be borne by
the passengers. • There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not
utilized on your tour. • The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any
damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in
carrying out of the tour arrangement. • Due to operational reasons lunches are omitted.
• Certain departure dates will have surcharges applicable, please contact our local sales
office for details. • Standard check-in time for the hotels is 1400hrs while check-out is at
1200hrs. • The fare is subject to increase if the booking is not done 14 days prior to the
departure date because of the ticket issue deadline of the Shinkansen. • Passengers are
required to carry only an overnight bag to Hiroshima. Their main luggage (one piece of
baggage per person) would be transferred directly to Osaka. • The management reserves the
right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in the schedule of trains,
flights, coach, cruise or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any
other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passenger.
• Thomas Cook will not be liable in any loss of baggage by the Airline. • Tours operated
