The Dun & Bradstreet Data Cloud offers the world’s most comprehensive business data and analytical insights. It encompasses more than 300 million business records, which represent the companies that make up the majority of the world’s GDP – meaning the companies with whom you are most likely to do business.

Our data is curated from tens of thousands of sources – including online sources and our World-Wide Network of data partners around the globe. It is updated 5 million times each day to reflect the constant change hap-pening across the business landscape.

We also use Artificial Intelligence (AI), including machine learning, to help with data sourcing and to speed up and improve the analytics asso-ciated with our data, including proprietary analytical predictors. In fact, we have been taking advantage of machine learning for over 20 years!

The Data Cloud contains 5 million hierarchies, covering 21 million loca-tions across the globe, providing deep insight into the ownership and linkage of your relationships, which is important for sales, marketing, and compliance needs. Live Business Identity starts with our universal identifier – the Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S® Number – which is assigned once our patented identity resolution process identifies a company as unique from any other in the Data Cloud. For example, if a company wants to work with the U.S. Government, or distribute an application through Apple’s App Store, they must have a D-U-N-S Number.
