THE

Lincolnshire Advice Network is 2 year project

funded through the Big Lottery’s Advice Services

Transition Fund (ASTF)

12 organisations form the LAN partnership:

•4 Age UKs

•7 Citizens Advice Bureaux

•Lincolnshire Credit Union

We have invited advice, information and support

organisations from across the County to join our

network so that we can work together to make

accessing advice and information easier and faster

for the residents of Lincolnshire.

The 12 partners, together with Big Lottery, have set a number of key aims and objectives for the Network:

1: Change Management. People working within advice and information are supported to work more effectively in partnership together creating a culture that respects and value’s each other’s differences and individual skills

2: Vulnerable people have greater and quicker access to local advice, information and support services through development of a new partnership approach to delivery and a single point of contact

3: Vulnerable people gain new skills which enable them to self-manage their finances and other issues in the future

4: Local advice, information and support services are more sustainable and able to meet the needs of local people through the development of a joined-up approach to advice delivery and through accessing new diverse sources of income

MEMBERS

NETWORK

The Lincolnshire Advice Network has over 260 members made up of advice, information and support providers across the County.

All our members are quality checked to ensure

that we are signposting to trustworthy

organisations.

Our members provide advice, information and

support on a diverse range of issues from health

and care to money and work; from legal issues to

family and home.

Membership is free and we would encourage any

advice organisation who provides access to free,

quality assured advice to sign up with the network.

Lincs2Advice is the customer facing arm of Lincolnshire Advice Network.

Within Lincs2Advice we can help customers to access advice, information and support services quickly and easily through a number of ways:

•Our call centre manned by trained coordinators•Our user friendly signposting website•Financial education training

Once a member has been approved, we will include their organisation's details in our signposting database which acts as the engine to our website and call centre.

The Lincs2Advice homepage is simple and straight forward to use.

Our members have selected their areas of expertise and these are contained within 8 main categories.

The categories are diverse so that we can offer a holistic service to clients addressing all their needs in one place.

Once you have selected a main category, you can further narrow down the results by selecting a sub-category, age category and location.

Our call centre staff have access to an internal database with additional information such as opening hours, live information on back logs and waiting lists to help us guide the signposting to ensure a speedy outcome.
