1. Fold your piece of paper in half diagonally both sides and from top to bottom

5. Your paper should look like this... 7. Your paper should look like this...6. Turn over the paper and fold in half – but leave about a thumb space of room at the top

8. Turn your paper over...

11. Turn over paper, now it should look like this...

14. To complete yourbutterfly fold in half like this...

15. Then fold back on itself at the 2 lines shown

16. Finally fold back thewings down from the bodyso that it is in line with themiddle – this is what it wouldlook like opened up

12. Fold the tip at the top down to look like this...

13. Then fold it back on itself to look like this...

Top layer tip (9)

9. Take the top layertip and bring down – it will curl the paper but just press this downto look like this...

10. Repeat with the other side. Your paper should now look like this...

2. Your paper should looklike this now...

3. Then take the top right cornerand fold it on itself to the inside.Do this with the left top corner too.

4. Take top layers, bottom right corner and fold it to the top of the triangle,do this with the other side as well.
