1 Timothy 6:12-16.The period we are living through may well develop into perilous

times beyond our present scope of apprehension! The ingredients arealready mixed in the bowl, the oven is heated, the cake is ready to bebaked - it is a devils food cake, about to be devoured by the earth-dwellers. The ingredients cannot now be unmixed. It is getting too

late even to alert anyone. However, the true believers of the trueChurch are not walking in darkness and can see the events in the lightof God and His Word. Even the secular members of society are seeinghow amazing are the world events going on. Never have we seenanything like this in history. Despatch magazine has dealt with a few of the atrocious trials on earth at the moment, but we can only deal withthe mere crumbs of the real scene world-wide.

Jesus Christ will soon take away His called out ones the saved ones,washed in His Blood, and Gods wrath will pour out on the planet.

IT IS FIT AND RIGHTFOR US TO GIVEGLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY.

At a time like this we can simply worship and adore the One Whois our Creator. This world is going to get what it deserves. We are of afallen race who have transgressed against High Heaven and have raisedourselves up in pride against the Almighty Lord of Eternity. These arenot religious-sounding words, but the Truth. The enmity against God inour own society has grown and grown in past years, so that even asmall change in the National Anthem by Christian schools in Australia,to include Jesus Christ in the words, has caused fury and denounce-ment by the wicked population of our nation. Gay marriages will soonbecome legal, and the final nail on the coffin of Australia will behammered in. Notice in this next Bible portion that God gives up asociety when the death instead of life sexual system comes into fullplay. Homosexuals cannot bring forth life with babies being born, and

they become symbols if you like of that giving up by God the Creator of life. Let us read all of this passage from Romans carefully, for itsums up Australia in 2011-2012 so well, even to the unholy glorifica-tion of creatures and creation rather than God Himself - this Creationis God concept is now ruling our nation. GAIA, Mother Earth:

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as

In the midst of it all, we as Australians, are still here living aspeople who are citizens of the nation. But, we are not really citizens of this land, we are citizens of Heaven, and we are just passing through:

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1 John 2:15-17.

THE BIBLEDECLARES

THE GLORYOF GOD.

As Gods peopleon earth, at this periodof distress, we shoulddeclare before Heaven and the angels our submission to the Creator of all, and our adoration of Him. He has shown such mercy towards usby sending His only begotten Son to die for the sins of this world,we should be humbly bowing to Him at this time in gratitude andreverence. If Jesus Christ had not died for our sin, we would be aboutto suffer the wrath of God along with the other rebels against God thatlive on this planet! It will not be pretty; it will be awesome to live onearth soon. Let us take time to realise what the Word of God showsabout the future plans of the Almighty, and His unchangeable purposes.It is coming to a crisis now, dear friends. Gods Judgements are ahead,we need to find heart-felt, holy acceptance of this and be preparedbefore the Lord. There are those who will tell us to get food intostorage, water and other necessities prepared, as the times are evil.No, we need to realise Who is in control and submit. We are a few,only a few will be saved, but we have the privilege of being among thislittle number. Show by your seeking the Lord Gods Presence and your obedient reverence that you acknowledge the unseen dimension and

realise the Sovereignty of God.Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiv- ing of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at

the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4: 14-18.

THE JUDGEMENTS.These facts should never

distress the Christians, for they are redeemed by the PreciousBlood of Christ. We havealready accepted the Judgementof God as to Believers SIN.We will look at this Judgement, itsTime, its Place, and what happenedwhen SIN was judged.

1. SIN was judged in A.D. 30.PLACE was Calvary.

The Judgement was completed by Christs FINISHED WORK.

THE RESULTwas accomplished. Death happened to Christ. Justificationwas the result for the Believer. Justification means:

The act of God declaring menfree from guilt and acceptable to him.

Declared perfect before God.This Judgement isPAST.

For Christ is the END OF THE LAW for righteousness to every one that Believeth. Romans 10:4:Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE and shall not come into condemnation (Judgement)but IS PASSED From Death Unto Life. John 5:24.

Let no man deceive you, someone who has received Christas Saviour and Lord and is under the Blood Covenant HAS GOTeverlasting life and cannot ever come under condemnation. We have

already PASSED from death to Life in Him. As soon as a personaccepts Christ as Saviour that ends the SIN judgement forever for that person. If our iniquities are laid on Him, they are not laid on us.Isaiah 53: 5, 6:

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and theLORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all .

BUT, we must self-judge our sins which are the product of theold sin nature that can still hold sway in our lives after we are bornagain. Unless we enter deeply into the Gospel of Christ, and we reckonourselves dead indeed to sin, and allow Christ to fill us with His ownLife, which is the New Nature. (Study Romans 6 carefully). If we arecareless and let the old nature rule our lives, we will be judged on theunconfessed sins, even in this life. God has to chastise many Christians because they let unconfessed sins reign. But, we will never be judged ever again for SIN, We cannot be judged again for SIN andso lose our salvation:

If we would judge ourselves we should not be judged. But when we are judged we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned (Judged) with the world. 1 Corinthians 11: 31, 32.

2. Believers who are safe in Christ and under His Bloodwill be judged for their WORKS.

TIMEwill be, After the Rapture has occurred.PLACE IS, The Judgement Seat of Christ. It will be in the air.The centre of this judgement isNOTabout salvation or loss thereof,

it is aboutWORKS done in the flesh.The result will be Reward for those Works, or loss of Reward.

I consider indeed that getting right with God as Christian believ-ers whilst we still have time is far more essential than stacking up foodand water in storage sheds etc. We need to prepare for the NEXT LIFE,the other dimension with God, much more than preparing for troubleon this planet.

All who are truly born-again must appear before the JudgementSeat of Christ, be aware of this:

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10.

IN THE AIR?Yes, the Bible tells us that the time of judgement for theBelievers in regard to their works is when Jesus comes back to Raptureus. Rapture, then Believers Judgement. And the place is in the air.This could mean in heavenly places, it suggests certainly the placewhere we will ever be with the Lord:

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come,who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. 1 Corinthians 4:5.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall weever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

THE BEMA SEAT OF CHRISTS JUDGEMENTcan be likened to a Judges stand at a flower and vegetable show,or the place where the awards are given at the Olympic Games. It is notabout being found guilty or innocent before a Judge in a court room, itis a judgment of the saved ones only! It is not a judgement for SIN, this is already over at the Cross of Calvary, but for a judgement of what you have done with Jesus, have you built upon the foundation of Christs glorious sacrifice great works of valour and service for theLord or not.

The wordCASTAWAY in the KJV does not mean that Paulthought he could lose his salvation! He meant he might not be

approved of God re his service and life. Here is the Greek meaning:adokimos {ad-ok-ee-mos}

1) not standing the test, not approved1a) properly used of metals and coins

2) that which does not prove itself such as it ought2a) unfit for, unproved, spurious, reprobate.

Now on to1 Corinthians 3:11-15:For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold,

silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is. If any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any mans work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

The rewards at the Bema Seat will beCROWNS.TheBemaSeat inGrecianGames gave circles of laurel leaves as crowns. If you had no reward youdid not get a crown, butyou were not punished. Weare aiming at receiving anincorruptible crown, onethat does not just rotaway as laurel leaves do.No one is cast out of Gods presence becausethey did not get a crown.However, if there is nocrown there is shame and

the suffering of LOSS.How have you l ived your l i fe?

This is the time of reflection. Make sure you have confessed all sins toGod, be washed in the Blood. If you have grudges and will not forgivesomeone, confess and be washed. End broken relationships as Godleads you. 1 John 1:9.

If you have lived a careless, worldly sort of life up to now, moveout of this shocking state and seek Gods will. Pray for the lost, speak to those unsaved neighbours and relatives about salvation in Christ

Jesus, be in every way the Christian you should be in the Strength of the Spirit.

CROWNS AHEAD.As you look at the world in 2012 be aware that no matter

what, it will all come to an end, and what is important is the reality of the eternal dimension. Floods, cyclones, economic collapse, trialsand problems massed up like mountains in 2012? - this will end soonand Gods eternal world will be our home. Remember how importantlittle things were when you were a child? Mum would not buy you anice-cream cone - does it matter to you now? This world and its rebel-lion, suffering and sin will not be important to you in the soon coming

dimension of Reality in the Heavenlies.Whatcrownsmight you win? Tocast at Jesus feet?

The Crown of Life.This is the Martyrs crown. For those who

remain faithful even to a martyrs death! James 1:12.You may have to face a trial one day, who knows, where it is demandedof you to denounce Christ Jesus or suffer death! Will you stand on theLords side even so, as many, many other saints have done in Churchhistory over two thousand years? Fill us with your boldness andbravery, Holy Spirit.

The Crown of Glory.This is for a leader, a Pastor, or an elder

perhaps. The Chief Shepherd will award this tounder-shepherds at the Bema Seat. Many today have gone after money and power, self-glory and pride. They will not get an award, even

if they are truly saved, because the Bible tells us they served filthy lucre and lorded it over Gods heritage:

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over Gods heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. 1 Peter 5: 2-4.

The Crown of Rejoicing.The soul winner will receive a crown. Thosepeople whom you have won for Jesus will be our

crown of rejoicing at His Coming. What happinesswill be ours when we see them safe and sound in Jesus Presence.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy. 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20.Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my

joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

Philippians 4:1.

The Crown of Righteousness.This is a crown that many of us living through

these terrible days will certainly receive. It is a crown for loving Hisappearing, longing for Jesus Christ to take us in the Rapture, lookingfor Him, crying for Him to take us away with Him. This October atthe Feast of Trumpets period many Christians felt very strongly thatthe Rapture would come at last. It did not, but there is a reward for you for longing for Him to appear. Take heart, and cry even so, come

Lord Jesus as Revelation 22:20 cries, the last prayer in the Bible. It isthe last promise in the Bible as well, Surely I come quickly, Amen says our Lord.

The Crown Incorruptible.Here we see the Victors crown, for those

who have kept under their bodies. For those

Christians who did not yield to smoking and drinking, or taking drugs,and who did not let themselves be pulled away from their Christianduties by worldly pursuits. Pleasure, amusing activities, trips here,there and everywhere, eating too much, engaging in too many enter-tainments. This is often the modern day Christians way of life, and they will not get the Crown Incorruptible. If we do not want to be ashamedat His Coming, let us keep our bodies under and our fleshly desires incheck. And we can still win a crown: And now, l i t t le chi ldren, abide in h im; tha t , when he shal l

appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed beforehim at his coming. 1 John 2:28.

THEJUDGEMENT OF THE JEWS.THE GREAT TRIBULATION IS NEAR!

Time is running out, beloved of God. When you look withamazement at the events going on in 2011-12, remember, God is notmocked. His Plan is the only one that will be accomplished, allthe events happening now will only lead without any exclusion intothe ultimate Plan of the Creator God. God is about to bring His Judgement on this earth of unrepentant sinners, beginning with the

Jews, then after that the Gentile nations.Let us consider the Jews first of all.

This judgement of the Jews is the paramount reason for theTribulation period of seven years. Why would God judge Israel severely in the Great Tribulation? The basis of His judgement against the Jewsis the Rejection of the entire Godhead, all of the Trinity, the rejectionof the Father, the rejection of Christ Jesus the Son, the Messiah Whois God come in the flesh, and the rejection of the Holy Spirit. This is

certainly not a light matter! Israel was chosen of God to be His people.They have done deadly evil in His sight.However, God is not finished with the Jews yet, as the

Replacement Theologyheretics tell us! God will raise them upin the Millennial Reign of Christ and they will be the head nation of the earth. BUT, there is a lot to be done with the Jews before thattime comes.How do we know this?The Bible tells us so:

1. REJECTION OF GOD THE FATHER.The Jews are Gods earthly people, and their judgement must be of anearthly kind. 1 Samuel tells us that in his day they rejected God theFather:

And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 1 Samuel 8:7.

2. REJECTION OF GOD THE SON.In the days of Christ on earth the Jews rejected God the Son:And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man [Jesus Christ], and release unto us Barabbas: Luke 23:18.

Read Acts 7:51. 54-60.

3. REJECTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.The Jews have rejected the Holy Spirit, as seen in the days of Stephen:Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resistthe Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. Acts 7:51.

When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

Acts 7:54-60.The Jews had been scattered amongst the nations for their awe-

some Sin against the Godhead, but God has brought them back to thePromised Land in our times. This shows that the Times of the Gentileshave almost ended. The Times of the Gentiles are the ages when theGentile nations rule on the earth is in operation. The Jews have beenbrought back to the Holy Land as yet unconverted but they will becaused to pass under the rod. This talks of judgement, they will becast into the Lords Melting Pot and enter through the horrors of thatwhich is spoken of by Jeremiah and Daniel as

The Time of Jacobs Trouble.Jesus Christ called it the GREAT TRIBULATION.

Read carefully what the Bible says about this appalling time period in: Jeremiah 30:4-7; Daniel 12:1. Both Christ and Zechariah associate this

period with the Return of the Lord.For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Read the whole passage of Matthew 24:21-31.Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be

divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off

from the city. Read the whole passage of Zechariah 14:1-11.

THE ANTICHRIST.He will be used by God to bring judgement on the Jewish nation

and the Gentile nations!!! Gods Plan will swallow up all the Antichristsarrogant agenda! The vials of Gods wrath will be poured out upon theearth. BUT the CHURCH OF GOD will be in the heavenlies being

judged at the Bema Seat whilst this is all going on upon earth.The Church, or the Bride of Christ, will NOT be judged on earth

with the earth-dwellers while the Tribulation is proceeding:Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation [the Tribulation], which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Revelation 3:10-11.And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrathto come.

1 Thessalonians 1:10.The word for wrath in the Greek is orgrewhich refers to theperiod of time when Gods wrath is poured out upon the earth in theGreat Tribulation.

READ carefully Revelation 15:1, 5-8; 16:1-21.

THE JEWS will be so distressed and in despair because of the judgements against them that they will cry out to the Lord in theagony of their situation. Wonderful things will then happen to them!

Zechariah 12:10.Christ will come back to the Mount of Olives, and the Israelites

will gaze upon Him who they pierced or caused to be crucified, andthe whole nation will beborn [or converted] in a day.

Then the Judgement of the Jews wil l be ended:And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives,which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. Zechariah 14:4.Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed,she brought forth her children. Isaiah 66:8.

THEJUDGEMENT

OF THEGENTILENATIONS.

When youlook around you

at the disastersthat are happen-ing on the earth,many, many awe-some events havebeen caused directly by the rule of the Gentilenations, united under one

authority - the United Nations. This authority is basically a WorldGovernment Body. The New World Order, or the New InternationalOrder, is REAL not conspiracy theory. The conspired destruction of nations and cities, the murderous activities, the outrageous elitepower structures of greed that make up the U.N. have been exposedby investigators over decades. Keep in mind as we proceed into thefuture that GOD is in control of the powers-structures of the earth,and His judgement on the NATIONS cannot be stopped by the wealthy and powerful human leaders of the planet. There is judgement coming,

not only for individuals, but for Nations. Soon the wickedness andinjustice reigning arrogantly supreme in our times will be at an end, andGod Almighty will show Who really rules. There is no Conspiracy Theory as some laughingly protest, but there is obvious Conspiracy FACT. Note in Psalm 2 that the earths rulers have conspired together against the Lord God - seeking to rid the earth of the imagined bond-age of the God of the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ:

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take coun- sel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Psalm 2:1-5.

The time when this harshest of harsh, but Righteous, Judge-ments, the Judgement of the Nations, occurs will be just before Christcomes again, andwhen Jesus Christ comes in His Second Advent -at the end of the Tribulation period. The Gentile nations will havegone through hell on earth during the Tribulation, especially the lastthree and a half years. The awfulness of the Battle of Armageddon willhappen in the ancient valley of Megiddo, west of Jordan in the plain of

Jezreel. The Lord will come in His glory to deliver the Jewish remnantwho are besieged by the Gentile world-powers, the nations have beenamassed together by the Beast or Antichrist and the False Prophet(Revelation 16:13-16; Zechariah 12:1-9). This Battle of Armageddon isthe first event inthe day of Jehovah, and is the fulfilment of prophecy, the mighty smiting-stone prophecy of Daniel 2:35.

This judgement of the Nat ions i s NOT a judgement ofindividuals.The Nations will be judged before the Millennial Reign of Christ, theLiving Nationswill be judged on earth. Some nations willbe SAVED and others will be DESTROYED. Only some nations willbe left to go into the Millennial Reign. The Throne of His Glory will bethe place of this judgement, on the earth at the Valley of Jehoshaphat.

The account of this Judgement is given in Matthew 25:31-46.The description of the Judgement is often linked with Revelation20:11-15, and it is made to appear as though they were one and the

The Sheep nations will inherit the Kingdom on earth,because they have been kind and protective towards Israel in theTribulation period. Where wil l this Throne be?It will NOT be on earth, for the earth itself will be undergoing a

mighty renovation by fire at that time. 2 Peter 3:7 tells us:But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day ofjudgment and perdit ion of ungodly men.

Remember, there has been one thousand years of human habita-tion of the planet before The Great White Throne Judgement hap-pens. The unsaved will NEVER be Judged to decide whether they are

entitled to go to Heaven eternally or go to Hell. They are already condemned because they refused to accept Gods wonderful offer of Mercy and Grace, which cost the Precious Saviour His life on theCross. These will Judged to decide the degree of their punishment.

Some people that youknow well could end up at that Judgement, people who think they are good and loving, wholaugh and joke now. They pay their taxes, they are friendly and kindto others, they are liked by other people around them. But, they willnot repent and turn to God andreceive the Death of Christ as their own personal sacrifice for Sin. They will end up along side the sinnerslike Hitler and Judas! NO unsaved person will get a sec-ond Chance of Salvation through the shed Blood of Christ. Since thisis the case, then the Judgement of works must have to do with thedegree of punishment.

THE FALLEN ANG ELSwill be Judged at the Great Day. They have been reserved in chains under darkness, shown in Jude 6:

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their

own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

If we walk prayerfully with the Lord every day, honestly judgingour own ways and habits before God, then we can avoid Him having to

judge and discipline us for any sinful ways and wrong doings. A born-again believer is never condemned by God with the unsaved of theworld. But, chastisement or punishment can be severe if we are givinga bad witness before others, causing dishonour to the Lord JesusChrist and so forth. God, our Heavenly Father can even remove fromthe earth by physical death seriously disobedient Christians. The Truthwe teach and speak is commended by the life we live, or it is disgraced

by the life wedo notlive in godliness:Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every mans conscience in the sight of God. 2 Corinthians 4:1, 2.

REST IN GODS OWN REST.Beauty for Ashes has been a heavy session this time. I did not

intend to write about Judgements when I first sat down to begin thisissue. But the Lord Jesus Christ led me on into this important conver-sation with you. There is no time left to be foolish in our evaluationof our own lives, and of those we love and care for. We live on a FallenPlanet, heading quickly on to crisis time. How then are you and I toface the coming days on the Earth? What does the Bible show usabout our personal needs and fears?

THE BIBLE urges the Christian believer to have no worries aboutanything, but to rest with peace in the Lord Jesus:

Be careful [anxious and worried] for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6, 7.

recently, on the radio as we drove along in our car. I cannot remember the extraneous details exactly, but the main story is etched on my little grey cells. The story was printed in Readers Digest, 1948. Threeyears after the end of World War 11.

A Christian man in Boston awoke one day, a day like any other,and went off to work. He went down to the train station and caught atrain he had never used before, and never did again. The train door opened and it was packed with travellers. The man, I will call him John,saw there were no seats left empty and was about to step back, when a

man rose from his seat and motioned John to take it, and then hedisappeared into the packed train. John took the seat, and foundhimself next to a sad looking fellow and they began to speak. He, I willcall him Frank, spoke Hungarian, and John also spoke that languageand soon they were chatting away. Frank told John his tragic story, of his life of suffering. He was a war refugee, originally from Hungary. Hehad been in Germany as a soldier when the Russians had taken over,and Frank was forced by the Russians to help bury mountains of theGerman dead! At last Frank managed to get back home to Hungary,only to find that nearly his whole family had been killed in the war,and his beloved wife had been taken to Auschwitz, the Nazi deathcamp. Frank searched and searched for her, but no trace was ever found. Finally he had emigrated to the U.S.A. to try and make a newlife for himself. Frank mentioned the name of the small Hungarian townhe had lived in. John suddenly blurted out, was the street you lived in such-and-such? It was: Frank had lived in that street.Was your wifes name Mary? Yes, that was so. The train stopped and John grabbed the hand of Frank and dragged him to a phone. In his pocket John had a nameand telephone number of a woman called Mary. it had been given tohim the night before by a war refugee assistance group. She had livedin the same street as Frank, in the same town. Mary answered the call,and soon Frank and Mary were weeping tears of joy for she was thedarling wife who had been lost to him over many, tragic years of suffering! God had reunited them. Think of all this. Whydid John go on that train, he never had before? Whydid the man get up and motion John to the seat right next

Whowas that man, was he an angel? Whydid the two men start talking, they were complete strangers? Whyhad that particular womans name and details been given to him? Howcome John had the name and telephone number of Mary in

his pocket? Was it all co-incidence?NO, God acted in the situation in His mercy and love. He can do thisfor any of us, trust Him with your life and He will do the impossible:

O For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37.

TO REST IN GODS REST is to cease from your works!God does not get anxious, He is never frightened and depressed,

He does not fear the future nor is He distraught over the state of theworld. Does God want us to enter into His own rest and be in sweetpeace? Yes, for He tells us so, He invites us into His delightful rest.He promises we can enter into His own rest:

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4:1-3.

Who are the them mentioned in this passage? It is the Hebrewswho came out of captivity in Egypt who would not enter the Land of Rest, who would not cross the Jordan River and enter Canaan, becauseof unbelief. It is a type of the Christian life presented here. Egyptstands for the unsaved state of the lost sinner, he becomes saved andcomes out of Egypt or the lost world system, but he will not enter Gods rest from ALL his own works and labours - because of unbelief.The works God has prepared for us in His rest were finished beforethe foundation of the world. This is theTRUE SABBATH, not a day of rest as in the Old Testament times:

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise,And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it

remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Hebrews 4:4-9.

Just as God worked in Creation making the earth and all that istherein, and He rested from His labours on the Seventh Day, so Chris-

tians are invited by God to cease from their labours and simply restfrom struggle, strain, trying to be righteous and striving to overcomeevil in their own strength. Jesus has done all the work of salvation for us, now it should be our Sabbath rest in a very real and spiritual sense.

Jesus cried It is finished as He died on the Cross, because He hadcompleted the total salvation for the whole world, but we have freewill, we must enter into this ourselves.

(John 19:30). Rest in Gods rest is entering deeply into Jesusprepared salvation, letting Him save us to the uttermost. Letting Himprovide all things for us. Freedom from the dominion of the old sinnature is ours by Blood-right, and letting Him fill us with His ownrighteous Life is being saved to the uttermost from our own inability todo good works:

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14.Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4.Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6.

Gods rest is when we give up our own efforts to be good, totry and trust Him, struggling to be brave, fighting to manage our littlelives. Notice above that if we hunger and thirst after righteousness -we shall be filled. No self-effort here, just an acceptance of God asthe provider of righteousness, through His indwelling Son.

The Old Covenant with its Law principle showed what MANKINDcould do, and humanity utterly failed to keep the Law. The New Covenant shows what GOD can do for helpless humanswho can only fail - HE does it all for us. He gives Eternal Life, He givesdeliverance from the Old Adam life, He provides a holy, righteous life.We just rest and receive. Come to God and say I am helpless, hope-less and will never be anything else but a failure and then receive allyou need from Him - provided already in Christ Jesus.

THE OLD TESTAMENT (COVENANT)was based on the blood of bulls, goats and lambs.

THE NEW TESTAMENT (COVENANT)is infinitely higher than the elementary religion

of the Old Testament. It is founded onthe Blood of the Son of God.

It is secured on that glory.

Will you face the future trying to show what you can do to begood, to be trusting, to have faith? Or will you cease from your ownlabours and enter Gods own rest, and let HIM give you everything youneed from His vast resources in Christ, under the New Covenant inChrists Blood:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heav-enly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us inhim before the foundation of the world, that we shouldbe holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1: 3, 4.Entering Gods own rest is ceasing from our own struggles, to

let Jesus Christ provide everything for us. The Sabbath rest is notabout a day in the New Testament, it is about a REALITY. ALL is free in

Jesus Christ, not just initial justification, but sanctification for our daily walk as well. Make an ABSOLUTE SURRENDER to the Lord, toobey in everything moment by moment. And let HIM fill you withHis own righteousness:

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he

that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Hebrews 4:9-13.HERE IS PEACE in the scary world of 2011-12, under the rest andpower of God Almighty - totally controlled by Him.

Where else could one find such safety - hid under His wings:I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.He sha l l cover thee wi th h i s f ea the rs , and under h i swings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buck- ler. Psalm 91:2-4.

CLOUDS OF GLORY.There is a spine-tingling passage in Daniel, 7:13, 14. It is a scene

in Heaven before the Second Coming of the Son of God. It ispreceded by verses about the vision Daniel had of the actualComing Again of the Son of God. Read them carefully, the Ancient of days is the GOD ALMIGHTY Whom you trust and serve. Do you feel safe under His wings?You should do! (Daniel 7: 9-12.)

Daniel 7:13 talks about the Son of man (Jesus Christ) coming inthe clouds of heaven.These clouds are often mentioned inScripture, and have awesomely spiritual connotations.Look some of them up:

To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. O God, thou art terrible out of thy

holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God. Psalm 68:33-35.

JESUS CHRIST will come soon to take His Church home, to bewith Him forever. The RAPTURE cannot be far away, be of good cheer.Some wonder if there could be a partial Rapture, with unworthy Chris-tians being left behind because they did not walk the talk. This cannever be. None of us are worthy to be saved or Raptured, we are allsaved only by Grace through the shed Blood alone. We are a com-pleted Body of Christ together, the whole Body will join the Head,which is the Lord Jesus. How could His Body, His Bride, ever bedismembered by leaving some of it behind? Never! Jesus will come inthe Glory Clouds of the Almighty. He is God, and He will cause us towalk upon the wings of the wind, we will be in the clouds of Hischariot.There is no partial Rapture, we will all depart:

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Matthew 26:64.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, be- hold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said,Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. It is evident that the, prophets did notalways understand the message themselves. Wesee this from the passage already quoted(1 Peter i. 10-13); also from various other passages (Dan. vii. 28, viii.15-27, x. 7-15; Rev. i. 17, vii. 13, 14, xvii. 6). It follows from this that thevery words must have been given them. Prophecy is an unimpeach-able evidence of the inspiration of the Bible. To understand proph-ecy we must follow the principle of interpretation always impliedin the New Testament that the Bible is an organic unity andChrist is its centre. We also need to depend continually on theSpirit of God who inspired prophecy, to be to us its Interpreter. Itis a common saying that history is the expounder of prophecy, andthat we must await its fulfilment to understand it. This view con-

founds the interpretation with the confirmation. If prophecy canonly be understood after it is fulfilled, how can it be a lamp shiningin a dark place for our guidance. Prophecy is intended for allGods people. But all cannot know the worlds history; hence his-tory is not its only interpreter.

Moreover our Saviour censured His disciples for not havingunderstood from the prophets the things that were to happento Him.

0 fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: ought not Christ to have suffered these things,

and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself (Luke xxiv. 25-27).

In like manner His second coming has been clearly foretold, andwe shall be deserving of the same censure if we are not watchingfor it.
