Stars of the Week

Unavailables

LeVEON BELL, RBWeek 2 will serve as Bell’s last game of his suspension.

Until then Williams has proven to be a serviceable

replacement for the Huskies.

DEZ BRYANT, WRThe stud wideout is off to a dreadful start in 2015, with a poor first game a

broken ankle that will keep him out for the next 8

weeks.

A. ELLINGTON, RBAndre Ellington will be out for 3-4 weeks following a PCL sprain that took him out of action in week 1.

KEENAN ALLEN, WRThe Chargers’ leading receiver from 2014 got off to a huge start with 31 points to

lead week 1 scoring. Expect more of that with Gates out again.

TRAVIS KELCE, TEWeek 1 was surprisingly the week of the TE, with Kelce leading the way with 24

points for the Moose in their victory over the Knights.

NICK FOLES, QBFoles shredded a tough Seahawks secondary to finish with 26 points in

week 1. Expert more of this as he gets more

familiar with his offense.

AUSTIN SEFERIAN-JENKINS, TE

The young Bucs TE was the lone bright-spot in

their solid thumping by the Titans. He is clearly

Winston’s favorite target in a poor offense.

KENDALL WRIGHT, WRWhile not a world-breaker,

Wright has quickly become the favorite target of rookie QB Mariota. He should be a decent option

moving forward.

one up / one down

TYLER EIFERT, TEEifert was among many of the surprising big men to put up numbers in week 1.

Now that the job in Cincy belongs only to him, his outlook is good.

PEYTON MANNING, QBManning looked out of sync with his entire offense in week 1. It was only the second

time in his career that his team went without an offensive touchdown.

The Year of the Tight End?The 2014 season was the year of wide receiver, and the year of the

underwhelming tight end. Only four TEs were considered to be above-average coming into the season (Gronkowski, Graham, Bennett, Olsen) with only two

(Gronkowski, Graham) registering a +20 point game. If the first week of 2015 is any indication, the league is entering bizarro-world. The opening week saw

sixteen TEs in double-digits with five (FIVE!) big-men breaking the +20 point barrier. Why the sudden surge in production? The spike can be attributed, in

part, to the rise in athleticism in the TEs coming out of college. This paired with the fact that TEs have a smaller route-tree compared to WRs and less practice time before the season starts makes it much easier for QBs to get in sync with

their TEs. With rosters reduced to two TEs for 2015, make sure you have two of these sixteen high-flyers on your roster in week 2.
