Bhaskar Chakravorti Bhaskar Chakravorti, a former Partner with McKinsey & Co., advises C-Suite and board members of leading multinational companies in the technology, health and consumer care and renewable energy sector on innovation, growth and new business-building. In 15 years of consulting he has advised many Fortune 500 companies. He has helped start new businesses that have scaled into established companies, re-positioned private equity portfolio companies for growth, and has been involved in the public policy arena with regulators and on Capitol Hill. Chakravorti serves as Executive Director of the International Business Center and the Center for Emerging Markets Enterprises (CEME) at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He was a former senior lecturer at the Harvard Business School, teaching innovation and entrepreneurship management, and co- led an immersion program to study India’s fast-growing technology sector. He held an appointment to the Harvard University Center for the Environment. Chakravorti’s book, The Slow Pace of Fast Change: Bringing Innovations to Market in a Connected World , was selected as one of the Best Business Books of the year by multiple publications and an Amazon.com best-seller on Innovation. He has authored over 40 articles on the topics of innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy, decision-making and mechanism/organization design through applications of game theory. His articles and interviews appear in top-tier peer-reviewed academic journals, multiple books, and widely-read publications such as Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the Financial Times. Chakravorti earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Rochester, where he was a University Fellow; M.A. in economics from the University of Rochester and the Delhi School of Economics; and a B.A. with Honors in economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. Bhaskar Chakravorti
