11 DUAL NATURE OF RADIATION AND MATTER 2 hrs 12 ATOMS AND NUCLEI 5 hrs 13 ELECTRONIC DEVICES 5 hrs 14 COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS 2 hrs

2. Read the summary given from each chapter (NCERT Book)

3. Using the checklist questions prepare concise notes for that chapter and file it. If you

find any difficult in preparing concise notes, approach your teacher in this regard.

4. Prepare Formulae bank for each chapter and file it. The prepared concise notes and

formulae bank can be used for recollection.

5. Practice all diagrams, circuit diagrams, graphs and block diagrams.

6. Prepare 3 year Question papers without leaving any sets.

II. PREPARATION FROM ALL THE CHAPTERS

Follow all the 6 steps as given above for each chapter

N.B: One year question paper should be practiced after completing every chapter.

III. SOLVING PREVIOUS YEARS QUESTION PAPERS

1. Scoring marks in physics is not possible only by doing the theory part. Minimum 5 years

Questions papers Question papers should be worked out without leaving any sets to

score the range 80-95 out of 100 and practice the numericals done in the class work

book.

2. Read the questions properly and see the various parts in the question.

3. Steps in solving numerical

(a) Translate the statement into symbols

(b) Visualize the situations – draw diagrams

(c) Find the formula

(d) Substitute the values and solve

(e) Write the answers with units.

IV. TIPS FOR HIGH ACHIEVERS ( TO SCORE 95-100)

1. Past 10 years Question papers should be done.

2. Do all the previous year’s sample papers along with this year sample paper.

3. Read the reader and highlight all the important points to go through before the exam.

4. Do reader examples and reader back exercises for all chapters

5. Study summary and points to ponder given in the reader for all chapters.

6. Come out from all your distractions.

7. Practice all the diagrams, circuit diagrams, graphs and block diagrams for the reader.
