FINAL INFORMATION

It is the organisers’ ambitious goal for the 21st Congress of BIBM, the European Federation for Precast Concrete, to attract more than 400 profes-sionals from many parts of Europe and the world to attend the BIBM Con-

gress, an event taking place every three years. Decision makers from the international precast industry will travel to the Turkish metropolis for three days to discuss the latest developments in the sector.

Istanbul, as prime example of the ongoing growth in the Turkish construction industry, offers the ideal venue for more than 50 exhibitors, who will present their products and services. The conference program will draw construction companies, precast concrete component manufacturers, planning experts, and scientists as well as politicians and lobbyists together to exchange ideas and information.

IPHA, the International Prestressed Hollowcore Association, will attend the BIBM event with all its members and hold its Annual Meeting 2014 right

after the BIBM Congress in the same location. Some of the speakers are appointed by IPHA to address topics specifi c to hollow core slabs, which can however be applied to the whole precast concrete industry.
