Most recently, co-organizing a new league and Hackathon (Make the Breastpump not Suck), hosted by MITs Media Lab, which has yielded over 85 pieces of national and interna-tional press, a new global-network for innovations in post-partum health, and an academic paper (un)Hacking the Hackathon. Started as an art project, Alexandra is now working on this movement through the MIT Media Labs as a Research Affiliate; Fluid Interfaces. As a teach-ing fellow at Harvard University in both the Fine Art and Science de-partments; Alexandra was able to mentor students and give talks about her work as a contemporary installation artist. She is currently fur-thering her work in Idea Translation by working with Le Laboratoire in Cambridge, MA. USA, an international platform for convergence, ex-periments and exhibition. Invited to Aspen Ideas Festival (14),When living in Silicon Valley, Alexandra also helps Stanfords Cantor Center for the Arts as they start a unique family arts education classroom program.
