Daredevil dash and dynamism: since cinema is all about moving pictures, it’s no accident that the box office loves action movies. Where else can you find explosive action giving a kinetic rush of pleasure? In dance movies. And just as action movies are diminished on the small screen, dance movies only truly achieve their pulse-quickening potential on the big screen; hence this two-month seasons of groundbreaking dance films.
