What is this all about? What are the main trends in these areas? How do we apply them in systematic investing today? Speaker Esther Gonzalez will demystify Systematic Investing and show how to use Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to get the edge in the investment field. She will go through current trends in these different areas and show how it translates into leverage for quantitative investing. Esther will also share her personal background how she came to work in the “math geek” environment of systematic hedge funds as well as some thoughts on diversity at Systematica. Speaker: Esther Gonzalez, Principal, Head Investor Relations – Europe, joined Systematica Investments in February 2015 from Macquarie Investment Management where she was the Head of Sales and Distribution in the Nordics and Switzerland. Prior to this, Esther was responsible for building the Capital Introduction department at SEB. Esther started in the asset management industry in 2000 and has held various investor facing positions in London, Zurich, Stockholm and Geneva while working for Wilshire Associates, UBS, SEB, UBP and Macquarie. Esther graduated in 1998 from the University of Granda, Spain, after two years at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. She obtained a MSc in Civil Engineering. Esther holds an MBA from the University of Saarland, Germany.
