About your masterclass leaders:

Robin Hagemans MSc is responsible for Grid Information & Control with special interest in Smart Grid Analytics ITwithin Alliander. He is a seasoned professional in the area of translating complex grid-related analytics into robustand scalable IT solutions. Within Alliander Robin has been chairman of the Infrastructure Advisory Board,responsible for developing Alliander’s Vision & Strategy on Telecommunications, an important part of the its smartgrid strategy. He was also Technical Automation and Telecom Manager within Liandon, part of Alliander. Liandon isresponsible for establishing, maintaining and running the high to medium voltage grid for Alliander. Recently Robinintroduced several successful innovative analytics applications for asset management and grid managementbusiness decision support.

Robin has a master’s degree in Business Administration in which he focused on how to use innovation as a meansfor transforming businesses and the energy industry. Robin also holds a BSc in Process Engineering. With thisbackground he works for Alliander on several projects combining the real-time, transactional and geographical ITworlds into the new energy transition IT world of analytics and business decision support.

Shailesh Tekurkar is an Industry Analytics Principal Consultant at SAP focusing on the Energy & Utilities Industrysegment. In his role he is responsible for delivering advanced analytics solutions to SAP customers by providing theindustry knowledge and solution consulting to architect and implement projects that address key business problemsthrough use of predictive capabilities of SAP products and services.

His is currently engaged with many utilities globally for developing advanced analytics solutions to address key issuesaround smart meter data, grid automation, asset management, workforce optimisation, customer service, loaddemand forecasting, etc. and addressing the Big Data challenges using the latest SAP technologies such as HANA,Sybase ESP & Predictive Analysis.

Shailesh has over 20 years of work experience in IT & engineering fields spanning multiple domains of which the last2.5 years is with SAP Consulting. He is a certified SAP Ramp-up Coach. He has strong project and programmanagement experience coupled with a deep understanding of technology and industry knowledge. Shailesh has amaster’s degree in Business Administration in Technology and Strategic Marketing and is a Bachelor of Engineeringin Instrumentation.
