If I am involved in an accident…

1. Record the car’s number plate; e.g., use your mobile phone.2. Try to get the person’s name and contact number3. If a taxi/bus record their driver or vehicle number (on the windscreen)4. Record the time and location; get witness contact details5. You may need to go to the 24 hour medical centre; take photos of

injuries.6. You may need to report the accident to the police; e.g., the car drives

away or there is a lot of damage to your bike or injury to yourself. 7. Reflect on how you can ride defensively to avoid future accidents.8. Let us know at GMA!
