Info: BikeMotion Benelux is the biggest bike exhibition of The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. It counts more then 600 brands on a surface of more then 30.000 m2. Visitors from The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg find their way to this exhibition and all the big brands are represented.

Info: For this year, we decided to do something completely different like last year. The booth had to be attractive, warm, personal, open and our six Big Ideas were leading in the whole design of the booth.

Besides this, “Cherise the S” was a big theme. This meant: almost no Specialized logo’s on the booth and as less red as possible.

BIKEMOTION | BIG IDEASTurn More People Into Fans

Info: One of our main goals of this year’s booth was to turn more people into fans. We decided to build a booth which was very open andwarm. People should have the chance to look, touch and feel all the bikes and equipment on the booth.

Also we decided to let people be part of our booth. We designed aFacebook Photo Contest where people could sent in theirpictures and we assured them that they would be part of our booth. Within a couple of days we had to stop pushing the contest because of the big number of pictures we already received.

The results? More then 120 pictures of fans on our ‘Fans Wall’ andmore then 50 of those people visiting our booth to check out their own picture. Also our Race Plate Wall with plates from consumersand employees of Specialized was a big succes.

BIKEMOTION | BIG IDEASAero

Info: As everyone knows, we had some great successes in the World Championships Time Trail in ltaly this year. For this reason, we decided to build a big Wind Tunnel and tried to let it look like the one we have in Morgan Hill.

To push our titels at the World Chamionships, we asked Specialized Racing for the bikes of Tony Martin and Ellen van Dijk.We displayed this bikes alternately in the Wind Tunnel, together with the all-new S-Works Evade on a Aero Dummy.

Of course we also had the McLaren TT Helmet and Shiv Triatlonbike on the booth, together with the Venge and Aero Fly handlebars.

BIKEMOTION | BIG IDEASInnovate or Die

Info: As long as we exist, Innovate or Die is one of the most importantstatements of our brand. Therefore, we decided to give this story abig platform on our booth at BikeMotion.

What better then pushing the Discbrakes on our Roubaix and Cruxif we are talking about Innovate or Die? It’s a big story at this moment and a real innovation. This was the reason to push those bikes in their natural habitat at the front of our booth.

We know that it’s a unique story that a big team as Omega Pharma -Quick Step is using our Turbo Tires. Therefore, we also created aspecial place for the Turbo Tire History on our booth.

BIKEMOTION | BIG IDEASS-Works, Made in Racing

Info: S-Works, Made in Racing. A big statement to the world and a greatstory to tell on an exhibition like Bike Motion. Since there is a newway of displaying the S-Works walls, we decided to directly implement this new way of displaying.

Our S-Works part of the booth included all of our S-Works families, like the new S-Works Allez, S-Works Epic WC, S-Works Roubaixand S-Works Stumpjumper HT.

Besides this, one of the vitrines right beside the S-Works bikes wasused to show S-Works equipment, like the new Aero Fly handlebars and road cranks.

BIKEMOTION | BIG IDEASI Am Specialized

Info: To let people know that we do more then sponsor the big teams, our I Am Specialized story was also presented at our booth.

We decided to use the same way of displaying as Kilian and his team did on Eurobike, but then with the addition of a Flat Screenwith I Am Specialized videos like the Mark Cavendish TV spot, Chuck Texeira and his SmartWeld story and the two Team Time Trial video’s.

Info: To push our Body Geometry Fit and Be One With Your Bike story,we decided to use the same wall as Kilian and his team did on Eurobike.

Besides this, we gave the consumers the possibility to let us measure their sitbones and advise them on which color BG Footbed SL to use in their shoes.
