Gibraltar is a British overseas territory under the sovereignty of the United Kingdom but claimed by the Kingdom of Spain.

Gibraltar is located south of Spain, in the province of Cádiz.

The official language of Gibraltar is English, is used in government, commerce, education and the media.

The llanito, is mix of Andalusian Spanish with great influence of English and many other languages of the Mediterranean .

The majority of Gibraltarians speak everyday Spanish, sometimes combined with English, even for English people who have moved to Gibraltar, often adapt to this kind of talk easily.
