Use the four different colored sheets to write your quotes and draw the character

Grab a conversation log and fill out the Signpost
Next, pick a Key Question to answer as a group
Fill out the log (3 mins)
Fill out the other side with the same directions (3 mins)
Place your SNOTS on the page—Please initial them!
Annotating TextCut out the white paper and glue on to the base paper.

Find 6 vocabulary words. On each stick, write the definition and example.

Fill out the left hand side of the sheet
On the right hand side, sketch your quote!Note: We’re not just looking for cool letters…what symbols, images, ideas popped out? Incorporate these in to your sketchYou may color these if you wish

ClimaxFill out the white sheet with the pie chart—this is your base sheet
Define Climax and write the title of your novel on the base sheet
Cut out and attach the orange sheet using a fastener from Miss G
DO NOT GLUE anything on to your base sheet!

VocabularyThe white sheet is your “base” paper
Cut out the blue shapes and arrange on your base paper
Write the character’s name in the center shape
On the top of the flap, find a vocabulary word that has been used to describe the character—these should be words you are UNFAMILIAR with! Write the sentence it appears in
Write the definition of the word underneath the flap
File under “Vocabulary”
Textual EvidenceThe white sheet is your “base” paper
Follow the directions on the side of the sheet to complete your task. You may NOT remove the sticky notes from other pages—you must re-write
If you need additional room, you may write on the back of the sheet (Just make sure you indicate it somehow on your sheet!)
