the following is a renovation project in the former Macdonldtown Conservation Area (Sydney,Australia)which involves alterations to an existing Victorian Filigree terrace as well as the introduction of an attached two-storey dwelling.
the proposal was created with special heritage and environmental design considerations.
the attached drawings are amended excerpts from a complete Development Proposal (DA) which inaddition to architectural drawings,includes a statement of environmental effects, a heritage impact statement, a BASIX cerftificate as well shadow study diagrams.
the environmental effects of the development proposal had been assessed in relation to:the1- South Sydney LEP 19982- Sydney City DCP 19973- Proposed consolidated Sydney City Plan LEP4- State Environmental Planning Policy (Building Sustainability Index: BASIX) 20045- Neighbourhood Character Strategy 36- Environmental planning and assessment act, 1979
