GRIP LEADERSIP CONFERENCE On Wednesday, 31 October, five students attended a GRIP Leadership Conference in Tamworth with Mrs Gruenfeld and Miss Maddie. We all left at 6.30am and arrived home at 5.00pm after a remarkable day of learning about leadership. The main advice we came away with was to remember that, Leadership is about people not position or power, and the core of any leader is their character. This involved the character or leader to focus on others, be confident with humility, have empathy and be reliable. Overall it was an incredible day and we all learnt lots on leadership, how to be a leader and what we and our school can improve on to have a more knowledge-based leadership group.
