What is BIFEST?

Each semester, in the course of week 9, all students who have taken Business Project 1 and 2 which is

embedded in their majors courses, Entrepreneurship 1 and 2, are asked to build a team of 5 and to

apply for selection to take a part at BIFEST. For Business Project 2 and Entrepreneurship 1, students

have to present their business idea and to compete with it in the BIFEST Business Idea Competition.

The selected groups in each class who have taken Business Project 1 and Entrepreneurship 2 have to

showcase their businesses by presenting at a booth in the BIFEST Centre eExpo.

The rest of the student entrepreneurial team, which did not get selected, showchase their business

ideas through the Student’s Local Market Experience (SLME) after Binus Festivl’s end.

There are 3 major events in BINUS Festival (Bifest) :

1. Entrepreneur Expo

2. Business Idea Competition

3. Entrepreneurship workshop

BEC not only teaches theories about entrepreneurship. But we also want student to experience the

real market with conducting a campus bazaar called BINUS FESTIVAL (BIFEST). For students who

want to become an entrepreneur and are starting / developing their business, BEC is inviting them to

feel the real business atmosphere at BIFEST.
