Beverley Lynn Kelly Artist’s Bio Beverley Lynn Kelly is a Calgary-based artist, who attended university in Saskatoon, Calgary, and Auckland, New Zealand. She completed a practicum in Prague, Czech Republic teaching junior and senior high art and drama. She currently teaches in the public school system often integrating art into the Alberta Program of Studies. She has received scholarships in Art and Art Education, and studied art and art history as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar in New Zealand. Bev is currently a member of the Airdrie Regional Arts Society and the Federation of Canadian Artists. She continues to display her work in group & solo exhibitions. Bev engages in various workshops led by accomplished artists to expand her skills and knowledge base, and enjoys sharing this new-found insight with her own students. Bev prefers to work in acrylic for its immediacy and clean elements and flowing lines. Bev paints with bold lines, vivid colors & textures inspired by nature. She enjoys blending natural forms and collage elements with illustrative qualities through images captured during travel & adventure. Beverley Lynn KellyArtist’s Bio

Beverley Lynn Kelly is a Calgary-based artist, who attended university in Saskatoon, Calgary, and Auckland, New Zealand. She completed a practicum in Prague, Czech Republic teaching junior and senior high art and drama. When paintings begin to take on a life of their own, gradually moving from the analytical to passion stage, Bev finds pure joy in her work. In her experience, art has been a wonderful outlet to manage her chronic pain. She is a passionate advocate for art as a voice to bring about awareness and change and also as a healing pursuit.
