Ronald M. Summers, MD, PhD, is a radi-ologist and tenure-track investigator inthe Diagnostic Radiology Department atthe National Institutes of Health. His
research interests are virtual bronchoscopy and computed tomography colonogra-phy, computer-aided diagnosis, and analysis of the surface morphology of bloodvessel, airway, and colonic walls. He received his medical and doctoral degrees fromthe University of Pennsylvania, served his radiology residency at the University ofMichigan, and completed a magnetic resonance imaging fellowship at DukeUniversity.
Amy K. Hara graduated from medical schoolat the University of Missouri– Kansas City in1994, completed a 2-year radiology researchtract followed by 4 years of clinical radiologytraining at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN
(1994-2000), and then completed a 1-year abdominal radiology fellowship at theMallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St Louis, MO(2000-2001). She began serving on the radiology staff at the Mayo Clinic inScottsdale, AZ, in August 2001.
Wolfgang Luboldt completed his education in physics (1991) and medicine (1994) atLudwig-Maximilians-University, Munich, Germany. He has completed residencies atthe University Hospitals in Munich, Germany; Zurich, Switzerland; and Tuebingen,Germany. He is now at the University Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. His researchinterests are cardiovascular and gastrointestinal computed tomography/magnetic reso-nance imaging and tumor screening. Dr Luboldt is a member of the editorial board ofEuropean Radiology.
C. Daniel Johnson, MD, received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School andreceived postgraduate medical training in both internal medicine and diagnostic radi-ology at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. His fellowship training inabdominal imaging was conducted at Duke University Medical Center in Durham,NC. He is now a professor of radiology at Mayo Medical School and a consultant atthe Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr Johnson leads the CT Colonography ResearchLaboratory at the Mayo Clinic and is Director of Body MRI.
