Biography – Christine Brandewie, Market Research Analyst I began my market research career with Xerox Corporation, working as a Project Manager for five years. I then transitioned to independent consultant and Research Analyst. In that capacity, I have partnered with a wide range of market research professionals and written over a thousand research reports, covering the spectrum of qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research. My clients have included market research firms such as Pacific Market Research, as well as in- house market research organizations within Xerox, Johnson & Johnson, KPMG, Kellogg’s, and Hilton Hotels. Although an independent contractor, I enjoy partnering with others to produce top quality research reports. These reports have covered a wide spectrum of topics and industries – financial, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and services, as well as public opinion research in support of government, agencies, and universities. My primary focus is on the critical importance of the research report in the marketing research process. After all, raw data - no matter how well collected - is not information, and information - no matter how important - is wasted if not communicated clearly. I enjoy bringing the voice of the customer to management, planners and product developers. My hands-on experience as a Project Manager provides added insight into the complexities of custom research data. This perspective translates into tightly written reports and well-designed presentations. I have also participated in a number of market research seminars at the Burke Institute. When I’m not poring over data, listening to focus groups, or creating PowerPoint presentations, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, biking around town, and volunteering with the local animal shelter. Chris has all of the essential characteristics of the ideal partner. Her skills are top-notch, her work ethic is unbeatable, she never gets rattled even under extraordinary circumstances, and she is amazingly flexible in adapting to unexpected changes in a project’s reporting parameters… The highest compliment I can pay Chris is this: her partnering contributions to my research reports consistently make me and my company look much better to our clients than if we did the work ourselves.
