Mariana’s AchievementsAt the South American Championship (Adult) in

Bolivia 2014 Mariana won : Silver – Salto Bronze – Beam Bronze – Uneven Bars Gold – Multiple Team competition Women

At the World Cup held in Medellin Colombia in November 2014 Mariana won Gold for her floor routine in artistic gymnastics.

More Achievements!Mariana also won Silver on the Beam at the

South American Games in Santiago Chile 2014.

Also she won Bronze for her floor routine in 2015 at the Varna World Cup in Bulgaria.

About Mariana• Mariana was born in Peru but has lived in the

United States since she was 2 and a half years old.

• She started practising gymnastics when she was 8 and a half years old.

• She says in a radio interview that her parents thought she was a restless child and so they thought Gymnastics would be good for her.

About Mariana• She loved gymnastics from the first day. • In November 2014 it was the first time Peru

participated in the World Cup of Gymnastics and her first time also. She is very happy she won Gold for her floor routine. You can see it on you tube.

• Mariana likes Floor and the even beams the best in gymnastics.

Mariana’s daily gymnastics routine

• First she warms up.• Then she does physical training including a lot of

stretching.• This is followed by a lot of repetition of her drills

or routines in each gymnastic area including floor, beam, bars, salto etc.

• Then she cleans the equipment.• And finally does more physical training to cool

down.

Mariana’s Dream is...to represent Peru in Gymnastics at the

Olympic Games in Brazil 2016.
