Applications:1

• The GK incinerator is designed specifically for the disposal of Type 4 waste with 85% moisture and is used extensively in

• Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Clinics, Veterinary Institutions, Research and Industrial Laboratories for the disposal of human anatomical waste including human tissues, organs, body parts, carcasses, bleeding parts, fluids, blood and experimental animals used in research; Microbiology and Biotechnology wastes from laboratory cultures, stocks and specimens of micro-organisms, live or attenuated vaccines, human and animal cell cultures, infectious agents, wastes from production of biological, toxins, dishes and devices used for transfer of cultures; Solid wastes including items contaminated with blood and body fluids, cotton, dressings, soiled plaster casts, linen, bedding and other material.

Applications:2

• Biological and Pharmaceutical Research Labs for the disposal of tissue and plant culture, animal cadavers and outdated drugs.

• Municipal Corporations for the disposal of civic waste such as garbage.

• Port Trusts and Road Transport Corporations for the disposal of garbage and canteen waste.

• Canteens, Hotels and Wedding Halls for the disposal of vegetable and food waste.

• Poultry Farms, Hatcheries, Zoological Parks and Animal Houses for the disposal of eggs, dead chicks, carcasses, etc.

• Available in capacities from - 20 kg / hr. to 200 kg / hr.

Design Features of the

Incinerators:• Horizontal Design - Primary and secondary chambers housed

in single shell

• Destruction efficiency 99.00%

• Handles Type 4 waste with 85% moisture content

• Special high alumina low cement cast able refractory providing for high cold crushing strength

• Operates on 220-240 V single phase 50 Hz AC supply (except models GK 18, GK 25 & GK 35 which require 440 V three phase supply)

• Extended residence time of >= 1.0 sec

• Separate small ash doors

• Meets CPCB norms with no downstream equipment

• Long equipment life

Burner:

• Single pressure jet oil fired mono block

burner for primary and secondary burning,

meeting temperature requirements of

800°C ± 50°C in primary chamber and

1050°C ± 50°C in secondary chamber

• Fuel efficient, with return pipe for saving

excess fuel

Ingenious Design

• The design concept of this incinerator enables the use of only one burner in place of two, thereby enabling high cost savings. The incinerator contains two chambers housed in the same shell. Waste that is loaded in the primary chamber is burnt and the products of combustion flow across the hearth, into a secondary after-burn chamber. The flue gases pass through the core of the burner flame and travel across the primary chamber for recirculation providing for extended dwell time before emission, thereby enabling complete destruction of suspended carbon particulates, smoke, fumes and odour.

Norms Followed:

• As per the notification of the Ministry of Environmental and Forests dated 20th July 1998, regarding standards for incinerators, our equipment satisfies the requirements as follows:

• Two chambers (Primary and Secondary)

• Combustion efficiency 99.00%

• Temperature in the primary chamber is 800°C ± 50°C

• Secondary chamber gas residence time is equal to or greater than 1.0 second at a temperature of 1050°C ±50°C, with minimum 3% oxygen in the stack gas

• Emission standards within the required levels

• Volatile organic compounds in ash not more than 0.01%
