BCRT Robotics Workshop 2014
DAY-2
Recall• Basic Electronics components• Bread Board architecture and working• Use of multi-meter• Adapter and its use• DPDT switch• Switching mechanism for controlling motor in bi-direction• Power board and Voltage regulator• Making Manual Robot
What about Robo Akhada/yantra akhada?• Dimension should not be more than (25 x 25 x25)• Weight should not be more than 3 kg• You may can use two or four motors for strength• The shape can be varied as per the design.• Your robot should not harm another robot physically its
just a sumo wrestling .• Hammering and cutting mechanism in robot will be
disqualified.• The voltage difference across two wire should not be
greater than 24V• You can make small in size and greater in strength robot
to win Yantra aakhada.
MORE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS• Diodes• Voltage regulators i.e. 78xx• Motors• Connecting wires • One to One connector
Let’s Start
Voltage regulator• The three terminal electrical component used for regulating
constant voltage supply.• Its rating is generally LM78xx.• The last xx in the name denote the output voltage.• Examples: 7805(5 V output), 7806(6V output), 7809(9V output),
78012(12V output)
Draw Simple circuit on bread board

H-Bridge
Working of H-Bridge
Things to get clear• Vcc = +5V = vs = On = logic high =logic 1• Gnd = -ve = 0v = logic low• Signal = output from the sensors
Can this circuit be drawn on bread board
How about this????
IC (INTEGRATED CIRCUIT)
• It is the complex circuit integrated in in a box known as IC• There are several pins for the connection• Generally IC operates at 5 V supply. i.e. Vcc
• content for 2moro 780xx,• its type • and why it is used making simple ckt on bread board IC,about pin &
its type H bridge intro, pin diagram, working mechanism, using H bridge on bread board, description of l293d module, sensor intro, use & type with example, IR module(digital & analog) differences on both IR module and LED array interfacing IR module & L293d module interfacing making line tracking
