From Oscoda take F-41 north to Skeel Avenue. Turn le onto Perimeter Road and go straight to edge of runway. Continue on pavement and turn le onto forest trail that parallels chainlink fence. Go south 1/4 mile to parking area at end of the trail.

Riverbank Park is on the land that was once known as the Loud Nature Preserve. It has AuSable River frontage, dense bushes and wetlands where a bayou leads to the open river.

Although convenient to US-23 and the town, it yields a good inventory of migratory warblers, waterfowl and wading birds.

e AuSable River valley contains 19 active bald eagle nests.

In the spring of the year it is possible to witness the courtship ights of Bald Eagles. In these displays the mates y together om opposite directions, grasp talons, and plunge in a spiraling and plunge in a spiraling dive towards the water below. With their feet locked together and wings set the eagles can reach high speeds.More than once, caught up in the moment, the eagles have failed to release their mates and plunged to their deaths.

From US-23 in Oscoda turn west onto Mill St., which becomes Old US-23. Follow 7 miles to intersection with Tule Marsh Road and turn right.

From US-23 in Tawas turn west onto M-55 and go approximately 1/2 mile to Wilber Road. Turn right on Wilber Road and continue on 5 miles north to Galion Rd. Turn right on Galion and go 1/2 mile to Old US-23 and turn le. Proceed north 1.5 miles to May Road. Turn Right onto MayRoad and go 1/2 mile more to Brooks Road, turning right onto Brooks. Go 1/4 mile on Brooks (which becomes Davison Road), continue on Davidson until the intersection with Tule Marsh Road. Turn le onto Tule Marsh Road.

Self-guided Tour of Tule MarshTule Marsh Road is 7 mixed miles of dry upland, tag alder and ooded impoundment.

Ponds on the east side of the road have greatest variety of wildlife.
