HEARING.RECOGNIZING.ACTING.ONTHE.WORD.OF.GOD

12 In the garden of Eden sin was so beautiful until it attracted Eve from righteousness to sin. And in the same garden where there was a Tree of Life, there was also a tree of death. We would know it today as the law of contrast. That where there is good, there is evil; where there is right, there is wrong. And we will never, no matter what our environment may be, ever be able to shake ourselves from the presence of either. Because, Paul said, "When I would do good, then evil is present." The sinner will never be able to shake away from the Christian, the Christian from the sinner.


15 (Jacob & Esau) And how that, how it could come from that perfect, pure, elected, holy, consecrated father or mother. So to base it, that God calls by election... It must be. No matter how good your father and mother was, how nice they was, how much Christians your father and mother was, it still lays to you as an individual, your standing before God.

ROMANS 7:21-2521 I find then a law, that, when I would do good,

evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.


THIRST33 Paul describes it in Rom. 7:21, "When I would

do good, then evil is nigh." When you try, did you ever have that in experience, Christians? That when you're trying to do something that's worth-while, go to make an effort to do something that's good, then you find out that there is the Devil, on every hand, just to upset you... And I'd like to say this, that the Christians might know. That when you are starting to do something, and there is something always trying to upset you in doing it, do it anyhow. That's the Devil there, trying to keep you from doing what's right.


35 The first thing, is find out whether it's the will of God, or not. And then if you want to know whether it's the will of God, look into the Bible. There is the thing that--that sets you straight, is the Word of God; and then if you see it's in the Word of God, for you to do it.

I.KNOW.MY.REDEEMER.LIVETH49 And this great darkness that's swinging over

the earth now is nothing but to declare that light is pressing its way down… If death is hanging there close, what is a doing it? It's life, life a coming. The resurrection, the Easter for all of God's children is hanging low, it's pressing. The Angels are coming down. The great Holy Spirit's moving in. Darkness is taking its last toll, for Light will soon be here.

THE.SECOND.COMING20 And then another thing, I believe that when

Satan which was prophesied would go about like a roaring lion in the last days to destroy mortal life and spiritual life, and everything that he could... I believe then if all the dumpings of all the evil is being dumped out on the human race in this day, I believe that all the blessings will be dumped out, as it was before...?... by the heavenly Father upon the Church in this last days. And what a day that we're living in.

WHERE.I.THINK.PENTECOST.FAILED31 Now, that might bring up the question in your

mind about Satan in the beginning. For someone ask me not long ago, said, "Isn't Satan a creator?” I said, "No, sir. God is the only Creator there is. One Creator is God.” He said, "Well, how did evil ever get here then, if Satan didn't create it?"

I said, "Evil is not a creation. Satan cannot create, but he can pervert what God has created.” He's not a creator. God is the Creator, but Satan perverts what God has created. And God created good, and Satan perverted it to evil. And it's just like any other thing, it's perverted; it's wrong.

REPROACH.FOR.THE.CAUSE.OF.THE.WORD152 We find it, cross the country, today. One of

our tapes was being played recently in a home, where a group of ministers was right then convinced, and was coming to be baptized into the Name of Jesus Christ. And a man rose up in the room, who spoke in tongues and said, "THUS SAITH THE LORD. Hold on to what you got. Just keep on, going on, and I'll bless you.”

They said, "Well, if the Lord said that, I guess that's it." You see, it isn't examined with the Word. It was contrary to the Word.

155 God made a promise, that He would bless, but them blessings are under conditions. And you've got to meet those conditions, to make that work.


156 Sitting, a while ago, with a little, sweet girl here. First, I combed that family through, to see if there was anything wrong. God will heal, but it's under conditions. Only thing I found was the mother afraid it was wrong to take medicine. I said, "Don't you think that, sister. Get that out of your mind. Go right ahead with the child. Give it the medicine. God will make that known.”

157 Now we find out here that, these people, was trying to manufacture something; Hagar and Sarah, to help Abraham, help God to make His promise come true. You can't do that. There's no way, at all, of doing it. It's against everything. God's Word is going to happen, anyhow. You've just got to stand right on the Word, and say, "It's this way," and keep the Word. 62-1223


THE.GOD.OF.THIS.EVIL.AGE115 Notice, the tree that Satan caused Eve

to partake of, was "the tree of good and evil." It was a mixed tree.

Now look at the day we're living in, when He's calling out a Bride. He's got a church that claims to be doing good, when it's evil, by denying the Word.

SATAN'S.EDEN 128 "Now, looky here, the church is so-and-so. It's been established for so long. We're one of the oldest churches in the country. The mayor of the city goes." I don't care what it is, see. If it's against God's Word, be against it. That's your enemy. Anything that's against the Word is your enemy. Everything that's for the Word is your brother. 11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.

12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel. 13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.


PresumptuouslyTo boil up, seethe, act proudly, act

rebelliously, be presumptuous, arrogant, be rebelliously proud.

To deal arrogantly. To defy proudly.

Example 2: JEREMIAH 42:2-22

2 And said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:) 3 That the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.


JEREMIAH 42:18-2218 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine

anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. 19 The LORD hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day. 20 For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us unto the LORD our God; and according unto all that the LORD our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it. 21 And now I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto you. 22 Now therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go and to sojourn.


Example 3: II CHRONICLES 25:1-28 1 Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem. 2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart. 3 Now it came to pass, when the kingdom was established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his father. 4 But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.


LEAN.NOT.UNTO.THY.OWN.UNDERSTANDING121 Nowhere in the Bible are we asked to

understand. We're asked to believe It. By faith. If you understand It, then that makes faith annulled. I do not understand God. No man understands God. I cannot understand the Word of God, but I accept It. I believe It.

122 I went to no seminary and all this great understanding of man's knowledge on That. I just know that the Bible says That, "Jesus Christ is the same…" and I look for Him in that same category. I know He promised what He would do in this day, I look for Him to do it and He does it. He promised grace, I looked for it and I received it. He promised healing, I believe it and I accepted it, and I received it.
