A bit where the headstall, keeper and reins all attach to one ring and are free-moving

Uses direct pressure, not leverage

Legal EquipmentSmooth snaffle

Mouthpiece at least 5/16” diameter, measured 1” from corner of mouthpiece

3-piece connecting ring of 1¼” or less diameter or connecting flat bar of 3/8” to ¾” (top to bottom) with a maximum length of 2” is acceptable

Rings no larger than 4” diameter Leather keeper strap acceptable – attached below
