Anyone can participate; the onlycondition is to wear something red, in order to rage thebull. Allegedly, it all started in 14th century, when bullmarketers tried to speed up the process of bringing theanimals to the market. It has become very popular, so nowpeople from all around the globe come to Pamplona just to

    AND FROG JUMP JUBILEE

    This is definitely the worlds biggest frog jumping contest. Thefair was held for the first time in 1893, but the frogcompetitions started in 1928. The frog trainers have toparticipate on a number of competitions during the whole yearin order to gain an invitation for this event. In three days in May

    every year thousands of frogs show their skills. The worldrecord was set in 1986 by Rosie the Ribiter with a jump of 21feet and 5.75 inches. Impressive!

    Until recently, an annual festivalwas held in Germany in which agoose was tied by its feet to a postand then clubbed by the local menuntil its head came off. As a resultof complaints from animal rightsactivists, the festival-goers now hita goose which has previously beenkilled. A very similar event occurs

    in Spain (surprise surprise) everyyear in which a man hangs fromthe goose until the head comesoff. Again the goose is killed prior
