sign or the Ascendant or First house or the lagna (b) the Planet Sun occupies the Ninth

house reckoned from the rising sign or the Ascendant or First house or the lagna at the birth

time; (b) the Planet Mars occupies the eighth house reckoned from the rising sign or the

Ascendant or First house or the lagna at the birth time; (c) the Planet Saturn occupies the

Twelfth house reckoned from the rising sign or the Ascendant or First house or the lagna at

the birth time Secondly: and at the same time, the said four planets namely: the Planet Moon

the Planet Sun the Planet Mars and the planet: Saturn has not been aspected by the Strong or

most powerful planet: Jupiter occupying the Fifth house reckoned from the Reckoned from

(A). According to the translator: If Jupiter has to aspect al the four planets occupying the above

places then the Jupiter must occupy the Fifth house reckoned from the Reckoned from the

rising sign or the Ascendant or First house or the lagna at the Birth time. Hence it may be

read as the said four planets namely: the Planet Moon the Planet Sun the Planet Mars and the

planet: Saturn has not been aspected by the Strong or most powerful planet: Jupiter

occupying the the Fifth house reckoned from the Reckoned from the rising sign or the

Ascendant or First house or the lagna at the Birth time. (B). According to the translator:

N.Chidambaram Iyyar's View: To aspect all the four planets, Jupiter must occupy the 5th house,

If Jupiter should aspect only some of thefour planets, or, if he be weak though he might aspect

allthe four planets, the child will die. So that, the child will escape death only if powerful Jupiter

aspect all thefour planets. (C). According to Swami Vijnanananda's View: (i). To aspect all the

four planets, Jupiter must occupy the 5th house. (ii). If powerful Jupiter aspect all the four

planets, then the child will be saved. (ii). Jupiter aspects some and does not aspect others or if

(22). Prediction of Instant death of the child from -position of-Moon at birth and also during transit (in the year of birth): [Sl:22][Ref: BJ: Original Text: Ch:06:Sl:12] According to Varahamihira's observation of the sage's sayings: it is declared or spoken by sages that:- Firstly: when the powerful Moon during its transit ie, during the course of its revolution in that year of Birth, occupies the house or the sign occupied by the powerful planet causing the immediate death of the new born child or the individual so born. or Secondly: when the powerful Moon during its transit ie, during the course of its revolution in that year of Birth, occupies the house or the sign recognised as the the Ascendant or First house or the lagna at the birth time or Thirdly: when the powerful Moon during its transit ie, during the course of its revolution in that year of Birth, occupies the house or the sign occupied by the the Planet Moon at the Birth time Fourthly:then or under the said circumstences, it is declared or spoken by sages, that there will be immediate death of the new born child or the individual so born and Fifthly: In this conext the house or the sign occupied by the strongest among the malefic planets namely the Planet: Sun, the Planet: Mars and/or the Planet: Saturn which is aspecting the Planet Moon at the Birth time is considered as the house or the sign occupied by the powerful planet causing the immediate death of the new born child or the individual so born. Sixthly:According to translator, V. Subramanya shastri, The Moon makes about 13 revolutions [time taken by the Moon for making one revolution is 27, 32305 days approximately] in the course of a year. When ever the Moon in the course of motion (being powerful and is aspected by powerful malefic planets) comes to any of the three places namely: 1. The Rasi occupied by the Moon; 2. The Rasi signifying the lagna and 3. The Rasi occupied by the strongest malefic planet causing the arishta yoga, death will occur. Accordingly, we thus get 39 probabilities. The moon must be powerful [Baklavas] to cause death. That is, it must be weak Moon or be the ruler of the 6th or the 8th house. Thus the number of probabilities is limited to 13. There is another condition, viz, that the moon should receive strong aspect of all the malefics, the Sun, Mars and Saturn. Then only, death will take place. This reduced to one certainty ie, When The Strong (Note: to be powerful [balavati] to cause death Moon, must be, weak Moon (a waning Moon) or happen to be the ruler of the 6th or the 8th house [ie, the native should have born in, Kumbha lagna (Moon be the ruler of the 6th house) or in Dhanus lagna (Moon be the ruler of the 8th house) ] Moon receiving the strong aspect of all the malefics, the Sun, Mars and Saturn, in the course of motion comes to any of the three places namely: 1. The Rasi occupied by the Moon; 2. The Rasi signifying the lagna and 3. The Rasi occupied by the strongest malefic planet causing the arishta yoga, death will occur. Seventhly: According to Commentator's N.Chidambaram Iyyar and Swami Vijyananda’s observation: 1. there will be no early death If Jupiter is very powerful and occupies the lagna and also. 2. There will be no early death if the lord of lagna during birth time be very powerful, be aspected by benefic planets in the angles and be not aspected by any malefic planets. 3. There will be no early death (Though the Moon occupies the 8th house) if the Moon occupies the decanate of the Venus, Jupiter or Mercury. 4. There will be no early death if Moon exists in a benefic house, between the benefics and if she be aspected by Venus. 5. There will be no early death if Mercury, Venus or Jupiter occupy any angle and be very powerful, (even if any of these be accompanied by a malefic planet). 6. There will be no early death (Though the Moon occupies the 6th house) if the Moon occupies the decanate of Jupiter, Venus or Mercury. 7. There will be no early death if the Moon exists between two benefic signs or planets. 8. The full Moon (in a bright fort night) averts early death. If during the waning Moon the birth occurs by day or during the waxing Moon, the birth occurs

by night, then there will be no early death even if the moon occupies the 6th or 8th houses. 9. There will be no early death when Powerful Jupiter in the angles and aspecting the full Moon.10. There will be no early death when Jupiter, Moon, Venus and Mercury, all being situated in the benefic houses, in the benefic Navamsa’s or in their decanates. 11. There will be no early death when the ruler of the Moon occupied sign or a benefic planet occupying any of the angles. 12. There will be no early death when the malefic planets if seen in the benefic Vargas and at the same time if aspected by benefic planets occupying also their benefic Vargas. 13. There will be no early death if Rahu (The Moon’s ascending Node) occupy the 3rd 6th or 11th houses and be aspected by the benefics. 14. There will be no early death if all the planets occupy the signs that rise with their faces in front (ShIrShOdayA signs). 15. There will be no early death if during birth time, the victorious benefic planet (in planetary fight) be aspected by other benefics. 16.
