(This was done in Windows 7 – if you have something different

the process should be very similar.)

At the top of your course home page, click on Content.

Scroll down to the bottom left side and click the “Blackboard

Collaborate” link.

Click again where it says Blackboard Collaborate

Enter your first and last name so that I and other students

can see who you are.

Click on “Log In” and you will see this:

In the lower left of your screen you will see this:

Be sure you choose to “keep” the file.

Click on the actual file that says

“meeting” to open it.

You will see a Java window open and start running.

Then you will see this: Be sure you choose “Run”.

This window starts up (just let it go) . . .

Finally you will see this:

This is your online session. On the whiteboard you will see

what I am writing. You will also hear me talking. You can

also meet here with other students for study sessions.
