At Blackdog we offer a complete and cost effective digital photography service, from pack shots to lifestyle shoots. Our attention to detail and emphasis on quality will always draw upon the best aspects of your products or services.

With a skilled, in-house team, Blackdog can complete both onsite or studio based photography. in addition to offering creative direction at shoots, we source and book locations, props, backdrops, food stylists and home economists.

Post Production To ensure every shot is meticulously examined and fine tuned to your exact requirement, we also provide comprehensive post production services. These include image re-touching, colour balancing and any other enhancements you may require.

Blackdog’s extensive experience of creating POS for Tesco meant our Christmas 2010 creative struck the right synergy between in store look and feel, and seasonal packaging. By March 2010 our style guide was in place for design agencies and printers around the world to follow.

After successfully delivering one of the largest seasonal event campaigns in the country, Blackdog was chosen to produce Tesco’s Christmas creative again in 2011.

Challenge Initiate and produce integrated marketing collateral for Dixons’ Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) ‘own’ brands

Solution Research, development and implementation of a holistic approach to brand development

Key Benefit Aligning marketing activity with product development, display and procurement has consolidated and optimised Dixons’ promotional spend

As part of our strategy to increase visibility of Dixons’ exclusive brands, Blackdog is developing brand toolkits for the Logik, Sandstrom, Goji, Advent and Essentials ranges. Each toolkit contains ‘on brand’ visuals and guidelines to streamline all marketing communications, visual, promotional and packaging identities. We are also providing brand consultancy services to drive the development of new editorially driven microsites and social media.

Ongoing developments include content for brochures, websites, e-shots, and style guides to align all creative work to the new brand identities.

Challenge Design regular promotional e-shots targeting the brand’s extensive customer basee

Solution Introduction of clean standard template and regular visual elements

Key Benefit Streamlined visual language has connected serial e-shots to provide an instantly recognisable campaign feel

To reflect Spicers’ status as the biggest office products wholesaler in the UK, we introduced fresh design elements to connect their frequent and wide ranging e-shots. Despite the endless variation between product promotions our fixed visual design pillars reinforce the Spicers brand with every e-shot.

In line with the company’s rapidly growing British and European customer base, Blackdog’s online creative is also being used on Spicers’ varied direct marketing materials.

Challenge Promote the trial of this new online service through in store advertising and communications

Solution Customer journey assessment and multi-channel design executions

Benefits Customer engagement with trial communications led to a seamless shopping experience in non-food

To promote the trial of their new high profile Order & Collect proposition, Tesco appointed Blackdog to create an integrated in store communications strategy. First, we conducted a customer journey assessment to identify appropriate touchpoints for advertising before proposing targeted multi-media messaging.

Advertising from POS to TV screens followed, explaining how to browse and purchase in store more easily using the new service. In addition the Blackdog’s 24/7 mobile studio was used on the shop floor to create, print and install last minute POS and signage right up to store opening time.
